I'm labouring the point I made on @joshrjhealey.bsky.social podcast recently, but Wanderers don't have a goalscoring problem. Only two teams in the CPL have scored more. The problem - and the reason we're unlikely to make the playoffs - has been defensive. So tonight's clean sheet is overdue.

Still baffled by last night. After half time, 2-0 up, there were 2-3 really good counter attacking opportunities to score a third. All wasted through dumb decisions. Saw Vanni lose his shit each time because the pass choice was so poor. Dropped 5pts from 2 goal leads at home this season. Annoying.

Fantastic game. Exactly what the CPL should be. Brilliant atmosphere, end to end, a lot of bite. Hope Supra can sustain that level of support across a season. Biggest compliment I can give is that the gridiron markings really annoyed me at first, but the match was so enjoyable I forgot them.

Thought the Wanderers managed the final ten minutes well this afternoon. But good intent lost out to bad execution. Intent was to stay on the front foot, make positive subs, play the game in PFC half. Largely, they did. Execution was big missed chances, poorly taken FK, frantic final play. Pain.
