Pester 6 has an experimental parallel runner: Run.Parallel = $true puts each test file in its own runspace using PowerShell 7's ForEach-Object -Parallel. On Windows PowerShell 5.1 it runs sequentially instead. #pspester #powershell

Should-* was a closed set. Not anymore. Pester 6.1.0 lets you write your own assertion with New-ShouldAssertion, and it behaves like a built-in one. github.com/pester/Peste... #pspester #powershell

Pester 6.1.0-alpha2 has global mocks, this solves headaches with -ModuleName. -ModuleName is now needed only when the function is not public to tell us where to find it. github.com/pester/Peste... Please try switching using it on your test base, and report issues. #pspester #powershell

Wow. Deleting a empty #azure tenant fails for no clear reason. Getting help requires a paid support plan and a subscription which will definitely block tenant deletion (no sub prereq). Make it make sense. 🤦‍♂️ Imagine having to invoke GDPR laws to use a product feature, the Delete-button.

I'm staring at a single 👻 OU in #ActiveDirectory that lists child OUs sorted by USNCreated. Everything else is sorted by name as expected. It occurs in both ADUC, LDAP and ADWS. What did someone break and how do I fix it? 😅 (Recreating the OU it is not an option, I want to learn the magic spell)

Note to self: X test locations = X executions per interval. This naive user just spent $10 on a silly URL test in #Azure. 😄 That explains why MS pushes 5 or more locations.
