Y’all, I did the craziest thing… 😖 I sent in my audition for my town’s talent show! 😱

And your art is as adorable as ever! 🩵🩶

Well, I’ll be… I finally found ship art of these two! :> I remember when WH first took off and seeing all the different ships, and I was surprised these two never came up :< I thought people usually love opposites attract… Glad to see it picking up! Jokebook is such a cute name! ☺️

I want to be a cat owner so bad 😭 But I’m allergic to them 🥺

Brittany Aravis @frittbox.bsky.social · 27/01/2026

I’m currently working on the pilot for the animated series I’ve had rattling around in my head for a while now. I already have the story planned out, but finally typing it out is something else! I’m learning so much, and I’m so excited to actually start fleshing out both parts! :-)

Brittany Aravis @frittbox.bsky.social · 13/10/2025

I’m kicking off a special 🎃 Halloween 🎃 set with the help of the Boots n Cats gang! 😺 Starting with Boots, who was going to be someone else but decided to go with something more recognizable in the end. #cats #art #traditionalart #colorpencil #halloween #halloween2025 #orangecat #supporthumanart

Being a black cat with orange eyes, Bella was made for October, and Percy and Tucker will take any excuse to get crafty and parade around in flashy costumes. Meanwhile, Wisp prefers the soft and cozy Fall asthetic, Boots is ready for the harvest season, and Socks… Well, she’s there.

Brittany Aravis @frittbox.bsky.social · 10/10/2025

The cats are back, and they’re all getting into the October spirit! 👻 In their own ways, of course 🎃 #cats #blackcat #halloween #halloween2025 #comic kinda #bootsncats

So, #lemon8 has these interesting templates, and this one was particularly fitting on the piece I made. #halloween #october #jackolantern #painting #paint #pumpkins #fall #fallfest #harvestfestival

I’m going to have rock solid abs by the time this cold gets done with me 🤧

000

Brittany Aravis @frittbox.bsky.social · 11/09/2025

To be fair, I think the first time was covid, but whatever this is is seriously kicking my butt… I don’t even have the health insurance to check if it’s asthma or bronchitis or what…

000

Brittany Aravis @frittbox.bsky.social · 11/09/2025

Imagine being so unlucky, you get a chest cold twice in a row 😞 What a world, what a world…

I am ITCHING to watch Corpse Bride. And maybe Over the Garden wall, but that’s honestly perfect for fall 🍂

Is it still too early to watch Halloween movies? Asking for a friend 👀

This is so lovely! 🥰 I love all her little intricacies, like the frogs on her shoes! And I really like how you shaded everything!

010

Brittany Aravis @frittbox.bsky.social · 04/09/2025

I’m howling! 🤣 “I’m literally Krampus-ing!” 😅 Maybe next time don’t curse the princess, Barn. Or maybe flowers and chocolates would’ve been the way to go 🤭

Brittany Aravis @frittbox.bsky.social · 03/09/2025

I’m not sure what’s more interesting: the fact that Barnaby possibly posed like this for the picture or that Howdy has/drew said picture.

Brittany Aravis @frittbox.bsky.social · 02/09/2025

After literal months, I finally finished 🥲 I loved the Sweet Briar storybook so much. It truly enchanted my little heart 💘 I had a love-hate relationship with this then I added the eyes and it all came together?? #WelcomeHome #WallyDarling #JulieJoyful #FrankFrankly #HowdyPillar #BarnabyBBeagle

I wanted it to look like the original Sleeping Beauty theatrical posters, but as usual, I think I got a little too detailed. Also, I am super serious about the eyes. It did not look good until I added them. Crazy, huh?

0113

Brittany Aravis @frittbox.bsky.social · 27/08/2025

Oh, yeah! I still have nightmares that I’m back in school and doing poorly, because I haven’t done any work and have been absent from most of my classes that I don’t remember signing up for. And don’t forget being in theater class with a show just about to start and not remembering any of my lines!

Brittany Aravis @frittbox.bsky.social · 22/08/2025

That is so clever! I was just keeping mine in plastic baggies and hoping for the best ;0;

Welp. It’s time to do what they say when you get your spirit crushed: “Pick up the pieces and move forward.” 🥲

Brittany Aravis @frittbox.bsky.social · 28/07/2025

I don’t usually sketch this way -by blocking out shapes- and thought it was neat.

000

Brittany Aravis @frittbox.bsky.social · 28/07/2025

I just wanted to show off these “silhouettes.” If you follow me on TikTok, you might just think these are what I used to hide the real drawing, but these are actually my sketches (except for ENA and Albin, who I sketched traditionally). #sketching #sketch #sketches #wip #workinprogress

I think an often neglected artist mindset is that an art block isn't that big of a deal and you don't always need to rush to fix it. Sometimes you need rest or inspiration and sometimes you don't know and that's fine. My point is sometimes things in your life pause for a bit and you'll survive

Brittany Aravis @frittbox.bsky.social · 22/07/2025

To be honest, I think you might get more of an audience there. I’ve been dabbling with different platforms, and I’ve been surprised by what gets traction over there. I also think your stuff would do pretty good on TikTok, but with the way things currently are, that one’s 50-50.

Brittany Aravis @frittbox.bsky.social · 22/07/2025

This does not look like buns. I think it’s very good! This might sound weird but, I love the shoe! Perspective is so hard, but I think you did a good job!

This is looking very nice so far! Mirrors are especially tricky, having to draw your pose from two different angles, but I’m glad you have a reference! :-) I have to make my own sometimes 😅

Saw this trend popping up and it’s very good advice! Your sketch don’t need to be perfect, just make it exist

0151

Brittany Aravis @frittbox.bsky.social · 04/06/2025

Thank you for saying this. I’m really bad at getting hung up on things that most people wouldn’t even take a second glance at. I especially get hung up on making the SKETCH look perfect 🥲 I don’t know why… Maybe I just need to make sure I know what I’m looking at…

The only time someone will actually notice it is if they’re like studying your art or over analyzing it, it’s usually an artist trying to learn or has the time to absorb a single piece (most people don’t lol)

Being a plant mom can be hard, so I commend you for doing your best :-) I’m sure your plants are very happy to have you (🫠 maybe not the finicky ones but, I don’t think they’d be happy with anyone-) Maybe I’ll get a mint plant so I can gain a little planter’s confidence back! :)

Brittany Aravis @frittbox.bsky.social · 26/05/2025

It’s because people, especially kids, love Stitch 😞 They don’t care about culture, or integrity, or good story, they just want to see the cute, funny blue alien dog ☹️

Brittany Aravis @frittbox.bsky.social · 26/05/2025

That's adorable, and incredible. I used to own a basil plant myself. I named him Bezalel and he was doing so well until he just keeled over one day :') I have no lucky with plants, so it's nice to see your little (little?) mint thriving.
