When using inscribed equipment roll 1d4. Whenever that value shows up on the main die you roll the glyph loses one stroke and you become incapable of feeling pain for a night and a day. My uncle, now a dialysis patient, had a concerning bleed after they removed hisgallbladder (off blood thinners so while the getting is good I guess?) and I said to my dad it was a iatrogenic-ass injury.

The copy does not regenerate once it's grown. The copy takes at least a day and a night to fully form. The smaller the starting part the longer it takes to grow. Any mayhem you experience - any other dismemberment that draws blood will also make an evil copy on the same rules.

Once as teens my brother and I went with my dad to visit a parishioner in hospital. Dad was making much over the good food & service the parishioner was getting and he asked the nurse if he could stay there too. The nurse told him “Of course! And I’ll make sure you get lots of enemas!”

Now they're in NM so apparently it's dry enough the cheese isn't like mouldering in the bathroom but still. Anyway, now I hope my dad makes it to 80 and I can get my sibs to throw in on an 88lb wheel of cheese. Also this made me think of @goblinbox.com, who is about the only cheesemonger I know.

So was catching up with friends yesterday and one's dad received an 88lb wheel of Parmesan cheese (for his 80th bday) from a restauranteur friend who heard they wanted to try making pasta in the wheel of cheese. But they have nowhere to put the thing, so it's being stored in a spare bathroom.

I hate it. My sister's cat Ponce was their first family pet in CO. Chatter in the sibs thread is he's got date with destiny at 11 Mountain Time tomorrow morning. Been a fixture of all my visits out there. Rangy old man, makes me think of Cohen the Barbarian, or Grandpa from Mongrels.
