in terms of slerp differences, I'm not familiar with all those methods you listed, but the canonical quaternion slerp only ever rotates around a single axis at a constant rate of change over the parameter value, unlike euler angles, quat normalized lerp, and interpolated angle-axis

given a quaternion rotation q, q² doubles the rotation √q halves the rotation qˣ scales the rotation by x as a rule of thumb - whatever operator you would use with vectors, like, say, addition, elevate it to the higher order operator (multiplication) to do the same thing on a quaternion

a table comparing vector operations to quaternion operations side by side, highlighting the similarities. the quaternion variants look almost identical, except they use the next higher order operator in each expression. ie: multiplication instead of addition. exponentiation instead of multiplication, etc.
