Genuine question, what makes you say that ? I've been hunting for a decade and have played all games from FU to SB, and I'd personally consider World one of the best entry points

To all those interested in MH Wilds, there are allegedly massive leaks going around on the game. If (like me) you want to hear absolutely none of it, be very careful online over the next couple of months !

Frostpunk is actually a pretty good game, would recommend to someone interested

Very happy to announce that Monster Hunter Ecology Season 3 starts NEXT WEEK! This season covers third gen monsters, and releases on a buffer schedule: Each episode goes public once the episode after it is complete (so ep1 releases when ep2 is done and so on) 18 Episodes total.

Everyone is making these big lists as their introductions on New Twitter™ but I think I can summarize my whole scene a bit more succinctly: My spirit animal is a Gajalaka riding a Qurupeco, screaming incoherently as they run from a Deviljho they intentionally pissed off. #promosky #monsterhunter

120

Guild Knight Gabriel @french-comet.bsky.social · 24/10/2024

Don't worry about it he's an early game monster anyway so it's not like the fight was going to be incredibly difficult (and I personally think he's quite fun)

I just realized something horrifying about this guy. The black flame being an Octopus implies, if we compare to real world logic, that it is EXTREMELY intelligent, so now I cannot look into his eyes without seeing dreadful malice in them ever again

Guild Knight Gabriel @french-comet.bsky.social · 23/10/2024

With how unique of a volcano/fire type map this is, my bar for the ice map is set pretty high (as well as my theory that it could be a giant underground ice cave and not just a classic mountain). Also holy, "The Black Flame" has the rawest grab attack in monster hunter history

030

Guild Knight Gabriel @french-comet.bsky.social · 23/10/2024

Those swinging animations are AWFULLY similar to Kecha Wacha's ; we might have to look over the scarlet forest to check if there's any place they might make him Swing around because Ajarakan is opening a door here

Guild Knight Gabriel @french-comet.bsky.social · 23/10/2024

I honestly still don't believe it's likely to happen since we dont have a fortress for him to attack but the Oilwell Basin might just be a reason to bring the Goat back

Guild Knight Gabriel @french-comet.bsky.social · 22/10/2024

We've all been theorizing an ice map, mostly a mountain (for Gammoth) ; but I'd love to see an ice cave. I'm talking the ENTIRE locale being an utterly massive, open cave with stalactites are the top. Kinda the feeling of being under the ocean except the top is frozen and there is no water under

Honestly the thing I like here isn't at all the urgency or danger. It's that non-important characters have more individuality. It's not like Rise where Fiorayne and named characters figure everything out, for Wilds it seems the nameless NPCs might have meaningful things to say too
