Done many things/been many places; have regrets but not many; I live for my kids, my grands and my singular great grand, just born. Atheist, very recent widower of 55 years. Very worried about climate change and the return of nazism, very, very worried!

Zelenskyy reports that today's Russian strikes on Ukraine killed 25 people. 19 of them died in Pryluky in a missile strike on an ordinary apartment building. 5 of them were children.

But who could have seen this coming? EVERYONE. We all said this would happen. How did we know? Because we saw the same thing happen in other countries, like the UK. There are ways to minimize this effect, but of course Ontario has not taken any steps to that effect.

At a moment when we need everyone focused on saving Canada, the UCP is letting down Albertans again. The Alberta NDP is putting ALL our focus and resources into saving Canada. What is the UCP doing?

It’s the mad Kremlin midget’s 74th birthday today. Either the butcher saved up missiles himself to murder Ukrainian families in their beds, or his sycophants leveled those apartment buildings as a birthday gift. At least 18 people are killed, including children, and the toll will keep

Were I wealthy beyond reason, just how would I think? A friend of sorts that I once knew (of the Westinghouse fortune) said that in growing up he thought taxi drivers, waitresses, etc. worked as they did as a sort of hobby. These people have no sense whatsoever of the realities of life, none.

As the reflectivity (albedo) of Earth continues to set new record lows, more of the incoming solar radiation is absorbed by the Earth system, increasing the amount of energy available to heat the oceans, atmosphere, and land, and to melt ice.
