As good as D2 and Sonic 2 were (I still play D2 on and off, it's just *that* good!), I actually enjoyed replaying both Diablo 1 and Sonic 1 many, many times. Such good games, made by people who were passionate about their creations. Sad that it's all being swallowed up by the corporate machines.

In old-school terms, Sonic, Diablo and Unreal were all game-changers for me and brilliant games. Still classics, still would play again if I wasn't playing other stuff. My list of faves would probably include D2 (LoD), Skyrim and Fallout NV. Hesitant to include WoW, but that was also a game-changer.
