Frankie Aguilar @frankxor.bsky.social · 01/07/2026Gotta get myself to a place where I’m as comfortable as my managers are taking multiple weeks off at a time. A strange goal, but an admirable one. 000
Frankie Aguilar @frankxor.bsky.social · 27/06/2026Anti-Supergirl = Pro-trafficking as far as I’m concerned. 100
Frankie Aguilar @frankxor.bsky.social · 26/06/2026Gotta let it breathe but the weather element of the start of this season of the Bear is not my favorite choice. 000
Frankie Aguilar @frankxor.bsky.social · 21/06/2026Why do companies go through the process of making their stuff USB-C but then only seem to allow the chord they boxed it up with to actually charge the damn thing 😑 000
Frankie Aguilar @frankxor.bsky.social · 12/06/2026Balancing my general interests in and hope for growth in space exploration against wanting everything that man touches to fail or for all of his shell game stacking of money to evaporate. 000
Frankie Aguilar @frankxor.bsky.social · 11/06/2026I can’t imagine being a fan of either one of these teams right now. Impartial, besides Wemby enjoyment, and my blood pressure is through the roof! 000
Frankie Aguilar @frankxor.bsky.social · 09/06/2026People get worked up about sweeping generalizations made but people in pain, but one look at how the talk when they’re happy should be an indication to not take what they’re saying to heart. 000
Frankie Aguilar @frankxor.bsky.social · 09/06/2026Really a bummer that Avery Wilson had to hear boos while singing a really good National Anthem 000
Frankie Aguilar @frankxor.bsky.social · 09/06/2026Asked a questions just for fun over on threads, and instead of getting an answer, I got asked “why are you asking this” and then “this concept is patronizing” so the internet is still really fun folks! 000
Frankie Aguilar @frankxor.bsky.social · 05/06/2026Even if you’re an Obama fan, I encourage you to NOT listen to his podcast with Malcolm Gladwell, who is a hack. We don’t need another generation of people falling for his 10,000 hours oeuvre of faux intellectualism bullshit. If you see Outliers on someone’s bookshelf, run away. 010
Frankie Aguilar @frankxor.bsky.social · 05/06/2026Watching the Rise of Skywalker for the first time in over… two years maybe, and the parts I liked I like even more but the parts that were bad are atrocious. The Star Warsy bits are pretty solid, but the writing and plotting, even giving grace for Carrie’s passing, are so bad and cowardly. 000
Frankie Aguilar @frankxor.bsky.social · 04/06/2026I think the Knicks went so hard in Game 1 because they knew who was likely attending Game 3 🤮 000
Frankie Aguilar @frankxor.bsky.social · 01/06/2026How am I just now realizing the Bootylicious sample is Edge of Seventeen? I had one of those Ratatouille time warps listening to the song earlier 🫨 010

Frankie Aguilar @frankxor.bsky.social · 26/05/2026Two things about metered intelligence: Largely, this already exists, because a person pitching this concept is already exhibiting metered intelligence in real-time, but more importantly, feel free to put a meter on something I’ll never use. 000
Frankie Aguilar @frankxor.bsky.social · 19/05/2026Wemby crashing what was on its way to being remembered as the Caruso game brings me joy. 010
Frankie Aguilar @frankxor.bsky.social · 14/05/2026I’ve said it before, maybe multiple places, but I’ll never think that they handled the Nate “redemption” story well in what was the final season of Ted Lasso. More how fast they got to the forgiveness than how the handled it. He’s such an asshat! 000
Frankie Aguilar @frankxor.bsky.social · 08/05/2026It’s so wild to see how political literacy has been diminished to nothing more than cheering for partisan dominance. Being happy at the continued erosion of voting rights because you want Dems to lose is so short sighted, but the GOP has done such a good job of making that the single issue. 000
Frankie Aguilar @frankxor.bsky.social · 06/05/2026Oh boy, the willfully obtuse readings of the Daredevil: Born Again S2 finale are already pouring in. 010
Frankie Aguilar @frankxor.bsky.social · 05/05/2026Daredevil (Netflix but I also like Born Again a lot) , imo, is the best Marvel show so far, and while S2 is my favorite, the plotting of S3 is perfect. The biggest problem I have with it is the power scaling of CQC Daredevil v Bullseye. 100
Frankie Aguilar @frankxor.bsky.social · 30/04/2026I don’t know why specifically, but Oscar running in the last episode of Beef reminded me how good of Solid Snake hey would be. 100
Frankie Aguilar @frankxor.bsky.social · 27/04/2026I would like to mark my annual or so rewatch of the Netflix Daredevil by saying, once again, I would risk it all for Elektra. 000
Frankie Aguilar @frankxor.bsky.social · 23/04/2026Finding mind control plots more and more plodding as I get older. The conceit is pretty boring most of the time, and I haven’t seen or read a new iteration on the concept in a while. 000
Frankie Aguilar @frankxor.bsky.social · 10/04/2026“Economists” always coming up with new ways to packages trickle down theory, despite overwhelming evidence of its devastating and intentional impact. 000
Frankie Aguilar @frankxor.bsky.social · 09/04/2026Clearly not the most important thing going on right now, which is probably why it’s being done, but dismantling the Forest Service is so vile. If you live in Utah, this is inline with the moves to revoke public land, allowing for private purchase, for prisons and data centers, going on there already 000
Frankie Aguilar @frankxor.bsky.social · 08/04/2026Something really funny about seeing a FAFO sticker on a truck that’s getting 4 miles to the gallon, peeling out of a 4 way stop. Willful ignorance is a hell of a drug. 000
Frankie Aguilar @frankxor.bsky.social · 01/04/2026How do we teach people that their personal experiences aren’t necessarily indicative of universal experience, and how do we start that conversation with regard to social media consumption. 000
Frankie Aguilar @frankxor.bsky.social · 31/03/2026The he’s just like that-ing of Dan Hurley is gonna be a problem one day and people will ask “how did it get this far” in complete shock. An all too common allowance given to certain people with net negative results. 000
Frankie Aguilar @frankxor.bsky.social · 30/03/2026Me, out of nowhere: Michael Essien is underrated. 000
Frankie Aguilar @frankxor.bsky.social · 24/03/2026The amount of flight sale emails I’ve received in the last 48hrs is crazy. They should spend less time trying to get people to fly and more time pressuring this admin to get the TSA paid and get 🧊 out of the airports. 000
Frankie Aguilar @frankxor.bsky.social · 20/03/2026I think we’re in a moment where our biggest stars are kind of just gradations of the same character, not a new thing, but maybe over represented currently. So a lot of start driven movies can come down to how much you like their schtick, if you find a corny or charming or whatever. 100
Frankie Aguilar @frankxor.bsky.social · 16/03/2026I’m a big, whoever wins best director, their movie should win best movie, kind of guy. Not a perfect formula but mostly correct. Which is why both those awards were awarded incorrectly. 001

Frankie Aguilar @frankxor.bsky.social · 10/03/2026So it’s clearly a given at this point that the amount of kompromat Israel has on the people in power in this country is astronomical, right? The veil of strategic regional partnership is out the window. Then again, we’ve got Christian nationalists in charge that want to hasten the end times, so… 000
Frankie Aguilar @frankxor.bsky.social · 09/03/2026Not sure how to best word this but being made similarly skeptical of legacy media to right wing nut jobs coming after the right wing nut jobs have taken over so much of how we consume things, knowing this was part of the playbook, is still a hard circle to square We’ve been and continue to be failed 000
Frankie Aguilar @frankxor.bsky.social · 09/03/2026Thinking about how the underlying conflict in a lot of racing movies is a top down pressure that has team leader/exec level people preferring to lose than have someone they don’t like win… and suddenly I realized why these movies resonate with me so much. 000
