I've been playing Gradius with spotty access most of my life. I DO OWN 5 and that weird ps2 collection on the purple disc but shaky roms and dubious console versions of certain titles never felt right. I have one of those Japanese Salamander carts that's clear aqua in nj.

i can get to Stage 3-1 without Missing in Gradius 1 but the Moai Heads kept getting me!! I did a 100? Try? Practice run and eventuality got through without catching rings so perhaps i can reach Stage 4 soon. I wish the Origins collection had the console versions!
