I’m also using white and gray striped jersey fabric and black fleece

Picture of one sleeve.
My kiddo thought it would be nice to color block the sleeve and use 2 of the 3 fabrics.

Almost done. Just put in ribbing to create the cuffs on the sleeves

Getting close to finishing the hoodie. Zipper is in.
Just need to create the hood and then attach it.

Puerto Rican inspired tote bags for our upcoming vacation. I’ve finished all the pockets and now it’s time to put these together. #Sewsky #Sewing 🪡

3 new tote bags in the works: a pineapple, a toucan/parrot and a lemon print

The inside liner for the toucan print is a black velvet and blue flower fabric

The inside liner for the pineapple bag is this brown fabric i bought 3 years ago when i first learned to sew.

The ibside liner for the lemon bag is a beige cotton print. It is also one of the first fabric i had purchased when i first learned to sew.
It was supposed to be a shirt dress but i was too ambitious back then

Tomorrow is our daughter’s 14th birthday. She’s really into makeup these days so I am putting together a makeup bag and also stuffing it with some little gifts. If she likes the bag then we will make a few more this weekend as party favors for her friends. #Sewsky #Sewing 🪡

I’m making the zipper.
The zipper tape is black and the teeth are purple. I’ve selected an iridescent flower for the pull.

I’ve decided to repurpose this dress i got at the goodwill into a new bag for my oldest friend on her 50th birthday. We’re all turning 50 this year. Wish me luck! This fabric is incredibly hard to work with once you cut it up. She loves Superman too so this should be fun! #Sewsky #Sewing 🪡
