1960s baby here: I could’t see the downside of just skipping the titers test and just getting the shot at my annual checkup. Doc agreed. So I saved myself an extra trip to doc and the extra jab.

Are the Dems doing enough to prepare public to resist Trump attacks on election?

Hey, it’s Brett Magurk with the Jake Tapper routine, speaking truth to the no longer in power. Instead lets hear how Biden and his cowardly and selfish foreign affairs team helped spark the killing of 70,000 civilians and the likely end of a two state solution.

For a president to knowingly and falsely claim as part of his official duties that a US citizen is guilty of a felony…that’s gotta be a high crime or misdemeanor.

Worse than ever. And it seems that the ‘delete and report option’ makes it worse too.

Would be nice if the Dem “centrists” would get on board at least.

And also, despite the GOP faceplant in this hearing, the whole thing is a painful reminder of how badly the Dems mismanaged the impeachment and the Smith report.

@morningjoe-msnow.bsky.social in all this discussion about the GOP senators and witnesses who were ready to remove Trump for Jan 6, is anyone going to remember that it was Sen Coons who shut that down in lieu of getting home for Valentines day?

FrankGinDC @frankgindc.bsky.social · 29/09/2026
@ms.now It’s supremely painful to hear @coons.senate.gov pontificate about Jan 6th when he’s the idiot/coward who shut down the GOP witnesses in impeachment. Will he ever admit that?

Having Schmitt the main character would serve the white house just fine.

FrankGinDC @frankgindc.bsky.social · 29/09/2026
Whoop dee doo. The real takeaways from this hearing: 1) Dems probably had GOP votes to remove Trump for 1/6 but backed down and 2) as damning as Smith report might have been, Biden and co didn’t even get it out the door so most of the findings are stuck in limbo somewhere, along with Epstein files

It doesn’t matter how bad November is for the GOP, it matters how bad next January and February are for them. That’s why we can’t wait until January to start lobbying Democrats for consequences, and we should do it now. Thanks for coming to my TED post.

What is the downside for Republicans in ignoring the law? The courts don’t actually do anything. The Democrats don’t do anything. The mainstream media acts like THE FUCKING LAW is just a differing opinion. No downside at all.

These are the three ways I think Dems are not meeting the moment in the AI and data center debate:

The challenge as I see it: 1) making sure the election isn’t stolen; 2) cementing this unpopularity not as a unique Trump feature, but as an intrinsic part of the Republican brand. Republicans must be made equal to failure, corruption, incompetence, cruelty, and authoritarianism in the public mind.

Worse case scenario is that he passes before Nov 3 and Vance has some time to take the edge off. That’s why Dems should be working harder to brand the whole GOP with Trump stink, not just Trump.

FrankGinDC @frankgindc.bsky.social · 04/09/2026
They’ll end up getting about 1/10th of the comeuppance they deserve. Partly because Dems are not using Trump to rebrand the GOP long term.
