I can’t quite put into words what Ezra Furman’s music does to me & seeing her and her band play live is just the most life-affirming experience. Last week’s gig at Kentish Town Forum was no exception.

Hard no to this: French publisher Harlequin has told translators that their work will now be done by AI. They can ‘revise’ AI translations at much lower rate. It’s a subsidiary of Harper Collins so treat this as a test for rollout elsewhere

FYI: AI in education, ai teachers, ai degrees.. all of it is for the poor. The rich won’t be sending their children to schools full of screens and chatbot teachers. And they will be doing philosophy, business, international relations degrees. Not “ai”. It will be a sign of wealth to not use ai.
