On a morning walk at the ranch and wondering how close the oryx will let me get before their prey-animal flight-response kicks in. About 100 yards. (I'm zooming in, so it looks closer.) Unless they have just emerged from the trusty pick-up bearing alfalfa those 2-legged animals are very scary.
