That's just something you get used to over time, substances or not. I've been playing for years and I still have to reference wiki to keep things straight and I'm not on anything. Just try and vibe with the themes and the tone.

I can’t stop thinking about Control Resonant and Ace Combat 8. Two very different video games that share a common theme of hope and two games that feel like the last of a dying breed of sincere AAA experiences. Almost like a miracle that they exist in the face of GTA, etc.

I just finished Ace Combat 8 and it is legitimately one of the best video games ever made. I'm floored. I can't believe the series continues to innovate and build upon everything that came before it. It's a masterpiece.

The difficulty jump after the dual boss fight is significant. Though, the fight after the one I was struggling with was super easy. I've heard the last boss is diabolical.

With how good I think Wolverine is, people just need to stop interacting with games criticism and take the plunge. I know money is tight, but if you like Remedy and what they do, you shouldn't need outside influence. Even if it means waiting six months. Stop feeding into the cycle.

I used to be ride or die for Rockstar. I don't really have an issue with GTA as a game. My issue is more with Take-Two and the culture surrounding the game. I'll probably end up playing it at some point. But, I'm also deep in the trenches playing old shit and weird shit. Its about balance.

I think its fine to have a media diet comprised entirely of big games. However, it gives people less ground to stand on when critiquing something like Wolverine or GTA. "I want more original games!" and then only playing Resident Evil games made in the last 10 years. It gets to a point.

As far as I understand for the first game, there are some environmental assets loke pictures and maps that allegedly use gen ai. I'm super skeptical about the sequel but the first game is one of my favorite Soulslikes, so I'm torn.
