Fire Emblem seems like the perfect game to *not* play at work

FR8 Conductor @fr8-conductor.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

My 4 year old decided to have an existential crises and ponder the "looming" threat of death last night. I didn't get on until much later than I planned 😅

It will not be for everyone, but it has a truly uniqe gameplay loop that I can't get enough of. Plus it has prox chat secret sauce that is as of right now slur free and all humor/role-playing.

WARDOGS has the juice, and is absolutely destroying all of my plans to play any of the single-player games I am supposed to be playing right now 🤷

I'm pretty sure Townfall is just looking to jumpscare me at this point because I keep forgetting it's there. This month is insane 😅

I am working on Star Wars Zero Company and Mortal Shell II before I will allow myself to engage with Onimusha or The Blood of Dawnwalker. I've got WARDOGS knocking on the door and Control Resonant just called to make sure I was still good for the 25th.

Clown makeup is both easier and harder to take off than I thought. I scrubbed and washed like crazy last night, but I still look like JD Vance with his eyeliner. Thankfully it has not made me look at couches differently!

I feel like their problems extend beyond that, though, it definitely didn't help. They are a worse Bungie. Great games but CEO has no idea what he's doing and horrible follow through.

Well this would be 3rd strike. At this point 1047 might as well just close up shop.

I am here to spread the good word about Sand: Raiders of Sophie! It may have some weird jank at times (stuck at the top of a ladder or dropped off the trawler when you exit a cannon) and in some ways feel a little bare-bones. But boy does the core loop have some juice. Highly recommend!

I've reached that stage in life where I am doing the gaming equivalent of building model train sets in my basement. I'm, of course, talking about survival crafting. Go figure—a game like Subnautica 2 comes along and dominates my consciousness. Krafton better be ready to cut that bonus check!

Game #10 Stellar Blade. I enjoyed my time with it. The game was absolutely beautiful and combat was excellent. Despite what it might look like at first glance, it is absolutely worth your time.

Game #9 is Nioh 3. Absolutely phenomenal game. Playtime clocked in at about 57 hours and only missing a few achievements. I cannot wait for the DLC to have an excuse to dive back in for more!
