Annoying about Schade. I was happy to keep as I had a benching dilemma this week anyway but not if he’s out for ages. Pretty much exact money for Bruno, Maguire, Schade to Saka, MdC and MGW though so maybe I’ll do that.

Very tempted to do Bruno to Semenyo for the Ipswich game to have a triple up with Haaland and Cherki who I have already. Try and catch the haul and minutes and then move Cherki on in gw8 and make a decision on Semenyo later on.

Ha I do get it with Barry. You sort of feel like you have to with the fixtures and minutes but you don’t really like it 😅. Definitely think going without Pedro on WC makes sense. Quite a nice little boost as it removes a ‘loser in the book’ and you’ve got a jump on others if he’s out longer.

I think if there was a really obvious option to move to instead of Pedro for this week I would. There’s a good chance he’s not back in gw6 imo. As it is I’m happy playing Groß this week instead and then if Pedro’s still an issue after the break I’ll have 2 transfers to do something a bit better.

I have Bruno atm, but happy to see how he does in the next two. Easy swap to Palmer or Saka if needed though. Don’t think DCL is worth a transfer out either: minutes, penalties, good team. This years Thiago for me. My issue is my defenders outside Arsenal - Maguire, Ajer and Diop with nothing itb.

I always had wc6 in mind but I’m likely to leave it now, like you say the changes don’t really feel worth it to me. Mainly Palmer and Saka that people are getting along with Muharemović that I don’t have. Essentially while my team looks fine I’ll hold on but know it’s there as and when needed.

I agree in general. I almost used mine and didn’t mainly due to being scared of this outcome, so I got lucky really. I’ll probably end up using it and only changing 3-5 players to minimise the chance of it going wrong, which is a crap way to be with a chip!

I’m usually pretty trigger happy with the wildcard early season, but this looks…fine for now? Certainly gw5 and even gw6 it’s only really Cherki and DCL that look like issues - though I accept the 3 non Arsenal defenders aren’t ideal. Current plan is to hold the WC through gameweek 6.
