So. My state voted for the ultra rightwing conservative nazis today. And i don't know what to do. I'm queer, I'm disabled, I'm childfree, I'm chronically ill. I'm scared. It's already been rough recently with mental health & work. I'm gonna take a hiatus from anything fandom-related for a while.

If you've been wondering where I am, the answer is: having literally 3 meltdowns per office day. Seriously, one before I go to bed. One at the office. And one when i get home. It's exhausting as fuck. I have no idea why anyone goes to the office. Horrible experience, -100/10 would not recommend.

Peak autism experience: had an outing/shopping trip planned b/c today is below 20°C. All dressed up, makeup, hair. Suddenly it's raining buckets. Take one step outside. Get my feet wet. Immediate Nope. Day ruined. Currently sitting on the sofa & very annoyed that my disability disables me.

Something I really appreciate about the music for The Vampire Lestat is that it's classic-ish rock'n'roll which has it's roots in black and slave music and gospel traditions. It honors Louis and Lestat's time in New Orleans in a special & subtle way <3

Watching The Vampire Lestat as a follow-up and OH BOY we're doing ACTUAL incest now and not just pseudo-incest. This is AMAZING. I'm gonna Solythal the SHIT out of this. Absolutely delicious.

Ok let me pitch you something: Interview with the Dread Wolf The Veil came down centuries ago; in the absence of any other great power, Solas stepped in to fill the vacuum, stepped into a role he never wanted to "take responsibility"; he spends centuries ruling and despising himself.

🦊FoxEaredDevil🦊 || ~ erotic vivisection Emmrook girlie ~ @foxeareddevil.bsky.social · 10/08/2026

FINALLY managed to get my hands on that Interview with the Vampire series and am happy to report that my brain is still so fucking Solythal-pilled* that Lestat/Louis is absolutely DELICIOUS through that additional lens. I need to remember some of that dialogue and put it in Solas' mouth 🫠

A very happy belated Fields of Mistria 1.0 to all my mooties ❤️ I've been spending literally all my (limited) free time there since Wednesday and i can't believe how much dialogue they added. I love this game so much 😭 And I love my Solas-coded, ancient boyfriend ❤️🥲

Man. Booted up the Trails in the Sky First Chapter remake and "The Whereabouts of Light" hit me like a fucking truck. Coming back to this game after going through almost the whole series is so impactful. Still some of THE best storytelling & worldbuilding in JRPG history ❤️

After once again being snubbed/treated unfairly by my family yesterday, Mr Fox came home today and brought me three movies on DVD i liked. "Just so you have something to smile about" 😭❤️ It's Heretic, Late Night and the Devil, and Pillion - which he's decided we're watching this weekend ❤️

If you were ever doubting the power of fandom, take this as a firm rebuttal. 21k $ in just 2 weeks is not nothing. And for an indistputably positive cause. Fans have also donated to women's shelters and domestic abuse NGOs all over the world. Whether LADS lives or dies - the impact is REAL.

1000% this whole thread. Nobody expects Fast&Furious to be an accurate depiction of road safety. Nobody expects accurate depictions of combat tactics or disaster relief efforts in movies. So why THE FUCK would we expect realism from nsfw fantasy??

how about: Solas desperately mumbling this to himself at night during whatever atrocities Mythal got him into. tears spilling over his cheeks, nails digging into his palms, trying to somehow affirm to himself that this is what he is now, this is what he always was: a weapon. an abomination.

"For a reckoning that will shake the very heavens." 💀 i'm convinced that Mythal was originally planned as the ultimate Big Bad but SOMEONE couldn't let Solas be a potential hero siding with Thedas against his former slave owner 🙃 &of course the status quo had to be upheld.

080

🦊FoxEaredDevil🦊 || ~ erotic vivisection Emmrook girlie ~ @foxeareddevil.bsky.social · 08/06/2026

yeah I made Evunial specifically for Solas and for maximum angst & agony :3 there is only Solas for her, otherwise she'd have an arranged marriage. Moira was made for Solas but the way she developed in my brain as an OC was independent of him. She could also end up with Bull (in one AU she does).

seeing as Fields of Mistria doesn't seem to have a German localization for their 1.0 release yet, I might as well throw my hat in the ring to work on it. I already did Coteries of New York, so why not. I hope they consider me, if they don't have people working on it already.

Evunial always assumed she'd marry whoever was advantageous for the clan - or, if required, she'd remain unmarried forever (too many mages, her blood is considered "too strong", whatever). Her love-life was never a priority as future Keeper. 1/4

220

🦊FoxEaredDevil🦊 || ~ erotic vivisection Emmrook girlie ~ @foxeareddevil.bsky.social · 02/06/2026

Evunial is the goodest good girl there ever was. Hal'evuna is held together with duct tape & spite against her dad (Solas) but is actually good(tm). Moira has 3 menty bs before noon & everyone pities her but she also kills shems to "decompress". so.

I sent out six applications today and i feel like absolute DIRT. The closer I get to having to go back to my stupid corporate IT support job, the more dread I feel. Like. I go to therapy & all. But the actual issue is I need a job that doesn't make me suicidal. And there ARE NONE.
