I was deeply humbled to be recognized by ERA-NC Alliance for my support of the House resolution which recognizes the ERA as ratified by the required 38 states needed for it to become law. Congress must recognize the Equal Rights Amendment and take steps to end discrimination on the basis of sex.

While Congress falls behind in delivering results for our communities, and communities of color in particular—I'm grateful for the local organizations like 39 Legends that are picking up the slack.

It was a pleasure to meet with Willie Parker, a former Tar Heel and Pittsburgh Steeler, and the rest of the 39 Legends team to discuss their work providing assistance to underprivileged children in North Carolina.

I am confident that the American people see their fearmongering for what it truly is: an attempt to hold on to power in the wake of a historically unpopular President and agenda.

Republicans in Raleigh and Washington are making false claims about election security to disenfranchise voters. Republicans hold the majority in Congress, Republicans hold the Presidency and Republicans instigated an insurrection to overturn an election. The threats to our elections come from them.

That’s why I was proud to introduce the SAFE Platforms Act, to protect Americans and shift the focus from blaming those who have been scammed, to holding companies accountable for knowingly allowing scams on their platforms.

I was honored to join Reset Tech’s National Day of Action Webinar on tech-enabled scams and fraud. AI-powered scammers are emptying Americans’ savings, and tech companies are refusing to take responsibility.

Today marks 50 years since the #HydeAmendment was passed, leaving millions of women on Medicaid without the abortion coverage they need. Now is the time to end Hyde and put women’s reproductive health care over political games.

These threats are deplorable. Trump is talking to the UN about annihilating countries while the cost-of-living skyrockets, and Republicans still refuse to bring the House into session. Americans aren't asking Congress to send bombs abroad—they're asking Congress to lower costs.
