I went to the Marie Antoinette exhibit at lunch and saw so many gorgeous dresses! Including one of the scandalous muslin dresses she was painted in in the first Vigee le Brun portrait!

My favourite East London goose family, the Canadalags.

a flock of geese on the canal. They are led by a greylag goose, who has their mouth open, honking. The four large teenage babies behind are mixed Canada goose and greylag babies. They have a Canada goose pattern except their cheeks are brown instead of white.

Also, today at farm we did some agility work with our ponies. This is our handsome new guy, and he is very sweet and games followed me around even when it was very clear I had no idea what I was doing.

Happy solstice! It was too hot to do the customary walk from Albedt Bridge to Mile End (too much concrete, too many people!) so I meandered round the canals and Lea Valley instead. The teen goslings are OUT.

Almost a week of worms! They've eaten most of their first week's snacks, except for bell pepper tops and seeds (which they appear to be sprouting for later) and red cabbage (which I think is too hard to digest).
