6. I played too many bloody decks with this ghostie in. Sand Slammer, Mega Gallade, Wailord/Whimsicott. 7. One of, if not, my favourite item cards of all time. The sheer shit this enabled in my decks was silly. 8 & 9. Another pair, how I miss you both 💔

3. Muscle band was one of the best tools they ever printed, sue me. I love this flat +20, miss you king. Most of my decks played minimum 3 of. 4 & 5. These are a pair because it's the stupidest deck I ever made that I got CP with. Healing 240 off a wailord for 1 energy and taking prizes? Yessss.

1. Trick shovel was that one card where when it was legal it didn't matter if my deck was at 59 cards, didn't need it, could've had a better one of, this went in every time. 2. Pulled this at a prerelease and fell in love with Keldeo/Blastoise being meta in standard again.

I did the cards that define me and I really do look like a meanie with some of these! I adore them though, very heavily played from Plasma Blast to Steam Siege. #Pokemon #PokemonTCG

Our LGS finally has a pauper league, I'm so excited to play 60 card magic. Don't get me wrong, I love commander, but the thought of playing a format where you have ✨4✨ copies of a card is so exciting

I have an itch to write, write about magic. Played eDH for 2 years now, getting into pauper this weekend. I'm having fun again with deck building, something I never thought I'd do post 2016. Yet here I am, a decade on, playing my silly little deck where a mighty steed leads walls into combat 😂😭

Came back from an event with the flu, right before I was due for my yearly vaccine. I'm so tired and aching everywhere. I'm burning with the desire to write, but can't even lift a pen for long enough 😭

I'm the worst with precons, I'll upgrade a few cards for sure, but taking them apart is a different matter. I'm building Gruul landfall with Hugs, Grisly Guardian as my commander at the moment. I have a ton of cards I could just take out of my exit from exile precon, but I won't 😅😭

I saw Coyote Vs ACME on national cinema day and what a hoot! I'm so glad this film made it out of the woodwork. I'd have been so mad if it had stayed shelved as a tax write off. My two favourite Looney Tunes gags were on the big screen and I couldn't have loved it more 🥹💚

I have been! It's been very difficult putting this back down when I've been sneaking a quick read in on my lunch breaks at work. This game and the writing has such a rich history and depth which I love exploring through the pieces 🥰

AI RANT Following the cancellation of three major debut book deals over AI suspicions, I decided to put my own (needless to say, 100% human-written) prose to the test. My detector of choice was Originality AI, and the results proved to be jarring, to say the least. 🧵1/5

That's ridiculous! I still have the tag from the original plush they sold in Japan, but it's in my fossil Pokémon binder. I could not fathom selling a tag, this is just insane and rather sad :(

I feel like maybe my writing process has gotten a bit convoluted. I do notes, then write up in a notebook, then type up into scrivener before I do anything with it. Am I making a mountain out of a molehill here?

I got into #MTG way too late to enjoy anything like published magazines to still be a thing, but when @cascadecascade.com announced they were doing a physical print of issue 1, I HAD to get a copy. It came all the way across the pond to me, and I'm so happy to own this 🥺

I fucking hate AI almost as much as I hate the sniveling asshole billionaires and shithole corporations who have all forced it into every conceivable spot in our lives. It literally makes everything worse and it makes us worse and I fucking hate it.

My main Commander deck when I play is Bill the Pony from LOTR, I have been so excited to see Troop of Ponies from the new Hobbit set that I got tagged so many times in my LGS's store chat when someone posted the reveal. I adore this card so much 😭

I made a Bill the Pony deck that uses attacking walls, cannot tell you how joyous it was to spend less than £30 on it and the excitement I had looking through scryfall at all the old walls I could include and their silly effects 😂

The main focus of it is on Bill the Pony (LOTR) and The Walls of Ba Sing Se (ATLA), I'm open to art styles as no two artists would product the same piece of work. I'm not particularly wanting it to match a style. I can share a concept of what I'd be after if that would help?

In case you, too, needed this today:

Op is novelconcepts: Hey, man, c'mere. Listen. Get in real close, this is important.
You're gonna make stuff again. You're gonna make stuff you're proud of. You're gonna make stuff you're excited to share. You're going to feel that overwhelming drive to create, not just the frantic / want to want to you're stuck in now. You're going to have awesome ideas, and you're going to make them into reality. You're going to create again.
You're still an artist. You're still a writer. You're still home to the same passion you had before. You'll find it again. It's not gone. It's just resting. Let it rest. You're going to make stuff again. I promise.
