it’s the way I operate with my art too. I treat it like a sprint because my inspiration/motivation comes in short bursts. thankfully the admin part is more of a marathon for the most part so I don’t sit there twiddling my thumbs

I will either make a million reels/tiktoks and post them in rapid succession or there will be no video content for 6 months. there is no in-between I fear

It has come!!! Nudibranch plush from @fossilforager.bsky.social I LOVE IT! Sqwishy! Thank you so much for designing a nudibranch plush that looks like the real thing and isn't "rainbow glittery big-sparkly-eyes aimed at little girls" stuff. I love a good authentic sea slug plushie! Thankies!

I had to have my former bumper repainted after fixing some damage on the side back of my car so I lost all my old bumper stickers. I could replace the wetlands one from @thornwolf.com but none of the others so I get to get more silly stickers.

Poppy is doing okay health-wise and still has lots of energy. She seems a little down but we’ve been spending extra time with her

No matter how much time passed between me visiting my parents, Hazel would immediately run to the bed or couch I would be laying on and jump up for pets and to sleep on top of me. While she was only 12 when she passed, we tried to make those 12 years good up until the end. I’ll miss her so much.

She and her sister Poppy also loved cuddling together. As Hazel’s cancer progressed, Poppy would stay close and groom her.

Just a few months after saying goodbye to my childhood dog Bella, we had to say goodbye to my family’s cat Hazel today. My parents and I adopted her and Poppy (her sister) as kittens when I was in high school, and she quickly became bonded to me, always looking to sit in my lap or lay on top of me.
