My headcanon is that Nozel Silva invented iron sights in the Black Clover universe. By dangling that stupid braid with a charm in front of his nose, he has essentially created the only crosshair in the world.

Thinking about Frieren because it’s good. It obviously explores aging. Primarily the grief and loneliness that come when one looks back on time they now suspect might have been better spent. Until about 90 seconds ago, if you asked me what my favorite video game was, I would have said The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. But after the epiphany I just had after like two dozen play throughs over 150+ hours, the answer is Cultist Simulator. This game is incredible. There’s nothing like it.

Persona 4 begs you to understand that Inaba is a small town. They work toward this aim in a number of ways, but I think the one that sticks out the most to me is that they’ve made a six year old girl whose brain is set aflame daily by the idea of visiting what is, essentially, a Walmart Supercenter.

I’m on record as a hater of the “best friend” character in the persona games I’ve played: Junpei, Yosuke, and Ryuji. I was wrong about them. Junpei seems selfish, but he’s deeply empathetic. Yosuke is the group’s brain. Ryuji was willing to die for the squad even though he was the butt of every joke
