I'm really interested in the solo RPG tales from the loom from our bundle for some of the same reasons, which is a really in-depth fantasy game, probably the most in-depth solo RPG I've seen, that looks pretty cool and even has support for playing with a full party.

In terms of what I'm excited for a lot of really cool fun looking one page RPG's have been posted to the sub Reddit, that I might try out when/record playing I get a chance to get more insight on solo games.

The game can be played with a single notebook and pencil. A set of pages numbered randomly to correspondence to different prompts you write, each containing choices that correspond to pulling a certain number of petals. Petals are strips of paper you've created by cutting back pages into strips,

I'm decently far in developing a solo romance RPG, two characters are trapped in a dungeon, and the objective is to see whether they escape and fall in love in the end, or just one or neither. The main resolution mechanic is bassed on the he loves me he loves me not petal fortune telling game/thing.

That said it's a really great value as a product, $60 for a game on the high end of rules medium (if dnd is on the low end of rules heavy) for both GM and players, a bestiary, simple campaign settings, and a full set of fairly cool cards for backgrounds, races and class abilities.

It describes itself as a narrative game but the actual guidance is focused on action over all, skipping from scene to scene, and a lack of fun rules outside combat make it more a casual beer and pretzels game.

A while back I ran a daggerheart for the first time for some of the party. It seems like a fun system with neat resource management that's good for one shots or backup games, but is held back by odd encounter balance and enemies also having armor values that limits the amount of damage they take.

It's a home brew setting where in the future of a fantasy earth a wizard discovered how to travel into space by magnetizing themselves to an interstellar lay line, died in the process and became the first of seven saints of space travel who "martyred" themselves in the development of space travel.

To start things off, recently I've been preparing to run a session of an underground indie gem known as Dungeons & Dragons fifth edition! Yeah ok not a exciting game to talk about, but I haven't run for the group I play with In quite a while because one of them has been super busy, so I'm excited!

There's also the option to reserve a space to meet up as a community, but honestly I think our group is a bit too small to have enough people willing to meet up for that, if a bunch of people are Interested in meeting up though, I'll think about that too.

I find most rpg players hate reading, rpg stuff especially. My group has played, also looked at my stuff, probably not read in full. Other friends looked and liked, some family's played and read cover to cover. I don't think full reading is a good metric when most organic players won't anyway 😵‍💫
