I know the US is collapsing and WW3 is about to start, but if anyone wants to buy some pottery, I’ll be at Glens Falls tomorrow and Sunday for the LARAC June Arts Fest.

I’m finally getting my multi-week handbuilding class! I know my audience here isn’t as local to Toronto as my IG following is, but if you could boost/share I would be so grateful! I really want to teach this class!! We’ll be spending more time refining and decorating than in a one off workshop.

A bunch of white bisqueware stacked and tumbled together. Two moustachioed Cowboy dudes, some small spoons and a bud vase, some stacked bowl things and a very upset tulip. Surrounding the ceramic pieces are handlettered words: “Handbuilding and Surface Design with Britt (me!) May 7-28th 4 weeks! @Parkdale Pottery”

Some more views of “That Which I’ve Longed For.” I’m definitely making more of these wall hangings, and maybe even turning them into a series. #ceramics #ceramicsculpture #porecelainsculpture #catart #surrealism

If you’re looking for something fun to do today while keeping to the boycott, come to the Cups in Collective opening at Context Collective in Troy 6-9pm. I have 3 mugs in the show, including my resist mug. ☕️

“Feral” Dahlia lidded mug. She’s got a little crack, but I still love the way this one turned out. #ceramics #pottery #porcelain #floralart #floralpottery #feral #dahliaflowers

More micro pearl love! Look at the way those crystals give such a gorgeous frosty effect on this wintery thumb cup. ❄️ #ceramics #ceramicart #porcelain #porcelainart #pottery #mayco #winterart

“Lekythos” (Porcelain, 2024) from my Enduring Echoes collection, this piece is inspired by vessels used to hold perfumed oil during funerary rites in Ancient Greece. It is currently on display at LARAC until the 19th. #ceramics #porcelainart #folklore #carvedporcelain #carvedceramics #pottery

A little early stage WIP for your Caturday. British Shorthair tomcats are a whole ass vibe onto themselves. Those CHEEKS! This sculpt is eventually going to be a part of a surrealist wall hanging. #catart #ceramicsculpture #ceramic #porcelain #britishshorthair #porcelainart #sculpture

This little wax warmer is named Dim Sum. He’s a little demon baby that was found and raised by a loving witch in her cottage in the woods, surrounded by beautiful gardens. Porcelain, 2024. #ceramics #pottery #porcelain #cuteart #carvedceramics #ceramicsculpture

“Alabastron” (Porcelain, wheel thrown) from my Enduring Echoes collection. The shell and lilac flowers honor Aphrodite, the Hellenic goddess of love and beauty.
