1/3 Like many of our members, we are dismayed at the planned cuts to social security. These changes will have a devastating effect on people in #Glasgow. This is borne out by the Government’s own impact assessment, which shows more people – including children – will be pushed into absolute poverty.

There is no question that deep welfare cuts from @uklabourparty.bsky.social will be both devastating and economically counterproductive. Look at the impact of austerity over the last 14 years. More austerity = more health/social damage = less productivity & more unable to work.
