The first Bleeding Heart Vine (Lamprocapnos spectabilis 'Valentine') flower of the season. 🩷

A single pink, pendulous, heart-shaped Dicentra flower with pink and white under-petals dangling from it (not sure of the botanical term for these!). Brown-purple stems with green foliage from the plant sit behind it.

I made a batch of wattleseed scones this afternoon. The scent of the toasted wattleseeds made the kitchen smell so nice.

Went to one of the final Over 18s sessions of Lightscape in the Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria last night. An excellent event made even better. 💚
