🔥 A mechanical impossibility that should break with each strike, this weapon is held together by an unshakable genius versed in the arcane arts. Tethered to the mind, it allows both martial and magical might to bloom in the right hands. #dnd #dnd5e #ttrpg

🔥 Artificers usually fall into the “misunderstood genius” archetype, laboring in solitude for years on end to achieve their ambitious goals. Even so, few of them can resist the allure of a frog-golem-assistant when they lay eyes upon an Artificial Familiar. #dnd #ttrpg #dnd5e

🔥 An Artificer’s greatest asset is their mind. This shield was designed with magical coils specially attuned to the wavelength of thoughts, being capable of reinforcing its wielder with the sheer power of their mentality. #dnd #dnd5e #ttrpg

🦅NEW #DnD MAGIC ITEM 🪄 Illegal Seagull This rough and tumble doll has been infused with an essence of life and I cannot figure out why anyone would want to do that. It just screams MINE all day. For more unhinged magic items like this, check out our Patreon. patreon.com/join/abyssalbrews

Illegal Seagull
Wondrous Item, Rare

This rough and tumble looking seagull is actually a doll that has been enchanted with a semblance of life by a seemingly competent thief. It is chaotic neutral and has an Intelligence of 14, Wisdom of 11, and a Charisma of 16. It speaks Common as well as Thieves' Cant. It has deep knowledge of the underworld, but is also extremely selfish, brutish, arrogant, and crude. It refuses to help those it dubs a “do-gooder” until it sees that you are willing to bend or break the law. If you prove yourself to the seagull, it will automatically recognize and translate Thieves' Cant for you including verbal or written symbolism.

When making an Intelligence check to recall lore about the underworld, crime, racketeering, or thievery, it has a +9 bonus to its roll (including its intelligence modifier).

Mine Mine Mine. Twice per day, you can use a bonus action to command the seagull to cause a cacophonous racket, distracting one target that you can see within 30 feet. The target must succeed on a DC 17 Constitution saving throw or become distracted for 3 rounds. While distracted, the target has a -2 penalty to AC when defending against attacks from you. Additionally, it becomes deafened for the duration. Uses of this ability reset daily at dawn.

🔥 A red-stained sea is a common sight after enemy ships meet above the waves, especially when pirate crews face authority. This saber drinks from those waters gladly, but it much prefers to drink blood directly from the wounds it opens in battle. #dnd #dnd5e #ttrpg
