I never win any of the Magic games I've played through things like "superior game knowledge" or "exorbitant amounts of luck." I always win games against my friends through what they have described as "bullshit" and being a "scheming little cunt." It is quite fun for all involved.

Roleplaying in a semi-modern setting after almost exclusively roleplaying in fantasy settings feels so freeing. It's so fun that the only exposure to American music that my Japanese criminology student has had so far is OutKast, Tupac, and Bonnie Tyler. She can own a SNES and play Dragon Quest!

With most of my recent RP characters, I don't have a good npc stand-in for a retainer so I just try to make the dumbest retainer possible.
