Why on Earth would one of the most reliable audio companies use genAI to deface its interface? The 2nd picture is an unaltered Babyface, with the correct labels and outputs. (btw who would throw their Babyface in the sand?)

Twenty years ago, I don't think I would have thought this picture possible. Funnily enough, being called a composer by such people sometimes still feels unreal.

Il est vraiment très classe en vrai, mais je ne l’ai jamais entendu ! En tout cas j’ai trouvé l’acoustique chouette et l’orchestre ne m’a jamais paru trop fort. Par contre la salle est peut-être un peu grande pour un piano, même de concert, sans aucune amplification.

Went to Shimomura-san’s 39th anniversary concert today. Fantastic setlist full of wonderful memories (too many to mention but Sparkling City from Legend of Mana was my favourite moment). Shimomura’s funny comments were also 100 times better than any MC I’ve heard in Japan.

Some of my favourite jazz musicians: Herbia Hanccck, Genius Monk, Herbik Hancack, Thelmous Monk, John Chocolatine, Ella Fizzggrald and of course the Dave Bruatret. (AI slop from a Japanese website that pretends to promote the Jazz Montreux Festival in Japan. Seriously, who is it good enough for?)

Règle numéro un : n’idolâtrer personne, à plus forte raison dans un pays qui « ne fait pas de politique ». J’ai eu droit à une leçon sur l’IA du genre « il faut vivre avec son temps » de la part dudit compositeur donc je ne peux que confirmer, avec un grand soupir.

Could be overkill if you don’t do video editing, but Da Vinci Pro Resolve just added RAW editing to their last update and it seems quite good. They do have AI features but essentially for subject or background selection. On Mac, Photomator seems good too. Also Affintiy Photo became free lately!

Oui, la pauvre va prendre les coups à la place du PS alors qu'avec un peu de reverb et une vraie scène sans panneaux ni monsieurs en costume derrière, ça passerait très bien. Il y a tellement à attaquer au PS avant de s'en prendre aux artistes qui ont le malheur de faire leur boulot.
