Went to Shimomura-san’s 39th anniversary concert today. Fantastic setlist full of wonderful memories (too many to mention but Sparkling City from Legend of Mana was my favourite moment). Shimomura’s funny comments were also 100 times better than any MC I’ve heard in Japan.

Some of my favourite jazz musicians: Herbia Hanccck, Genius Monk, Herbik Hancack, Thelmous Monk, John Chocolatine, Ella Fizzggrald and of course the Dave Bruatret. (AI slop from a Japanese website that pretends to promote the Jazz Montreux Festival in Japan. Seriously, who is it good enough for?)

A wall with jazz records. Mistales for every name: Herbia Hanccck, Jowe Monk, Herbik HancackGenious Monk, etc.

Several classic-looking jazz records with effed up names (Miles Davis of Flwe instead of Kind of Blue, The Dave Bruatret instead of Dave Brubeck Quartet, Ella Fzzggrald instead of Fitzgerald, etc.)
The background has a typical AI slop music staff with random and nonsensical notes and symbols.

My former colleague Yoshimi Kudo released an early version of a very handy piece of software that finds and creates loop markers in your audio files. I used to check my loop markers with LoopAuditioneer but I'm definitely switching to AutoLooper as the UI/UX is nicer. github.com/YoshimiKudo/...

Very impressed by Microkorg MK2’s UX and functions considering its price. I first found the FX section a bit weak but with logue SDK compatibility that shouldn’t be an issue anymore. The colour screen makes everything clear and fun. I now dream of a Novation Peak/Summit with that UI.

I have discovered so many tracks on Radiooooo across the years. Look at that beautiful (and probably unaffordable) jukebox. If it has TRS inputs and/or runs FIP (www.radiofrance.fr/fip), I swear there is no better music discovery machine.
