Out now: The Microsoft Fluent UI #Blazor library v5! It is finally here. As we've been saying (for ~2 years), this is not just a drop-in replacement for v4. But we have a lot of docs and an MCP server to help you migrate. See www.fluentui-blazor.net for more information. Packages are on NuGet Now!

I had fun putting this video together, inc the #WindowsDev #PowerToys cameo! Would you want someone floating around on your PC like this pointing you in the right direction? 🧙‍♂️ It was fun to see this play out in video form... let me know if I should keep it for future videos.

Union types will be introduced in C# 15. Are you also creating your unions readonly? This can avoid defensive copies. Not sure if it is a big deal though. #charp #csharp15

Not out of a method, only a loop. It replaces the 'good old' goto statement. I will use it to break or continue a nested loop. #csharp15

C# 15 brings Labeled break and continue. In @visualstudio.com you can use the 'Use labeled jump statement' refactoring to fix a goto. #csharp #csharp15

This code is very ugly. Will have to convert it to WinUI first. Then code cleanup. But I will make it open source. You will have to be patient.

MAUI startup feels slow? Do not optimize from vibes. Add timestamps around: 1. App/process start 2. App constructor 3. first page + viewmodel creation 4. first data call 5. first frame after navigation Then fix the biggest gap, not the loudest guess.
