I do a lot of commission work but when it comes to drawing my own ocs I draw a big fat blank 🚬😭 anyone got any fun prompts? I've tried those prompt generators but I never get anything that my characters would actually do

Just got home and everything isn't going my way. My traditional doodle sketches will have to be redone digitally, as my sketchbook got lost on my outing tonight, I'm very upset. Thank you for your patience

Does anyone have any tips for color using ClipStudio?? I've tried and tried to figure out their stupid bucket tool set up but the bucket operates unlike any other program I've used

Please read. Alt text included. ko-fi.com/bixbyte

I don't even know how to start this post. I'm sitting here crying as I type this.

On Monday June 1st, my fiancé's dad urged me to call 911 because his mom stopped breathing. I did. I tried to hold it together in that moment because someone had to. But I haven't been okay since.

She was only in at-home hospice for a few days. It happened so fast. Firefighters and EMS showed up, then a police officer, then hospice. We waited hours more for the people to come and take her. I just kept standing in the kitchen or sitting in a chair with everything that had just happened. It was one of the most traumatic experiences of my life.

And now I'm reliving the grief of losing my own mom back in 2020, all over again. Grief doesn't stack neatly. It collides. And right now I feel like I'm being crushed under the weight of both.

His mom, Patty, was an incredible woman. She was the rock of their family. She fought an aggressive cancer far longer than anyone knew, never complained, never wanted to be a burden. Even on her last day, she was still cracking jokes and saying sorry for needing help. We donated her body to United Tissue Network so that even in death, she might help someone else live. That's who she was.

But her passing has left us completely devastated both emotionally AND financially. She was helping keep things afloat before her cancer took over. Now we are scrambling to cover rent, utilities, and basic bills while we are barely

But her passing has left us completely devastated both emotionally AND financially. She was helping keep things afloat before her cancer took over. Now we are scrambling to cover rent, utilities, and basic bills while we are barely functional from grief. We cry every single day. Getting out of bed is hard. Thinking about the future is hard. But we still have to figure out how to survive.

I hate asking. I genuinely hate it. But I'm at my wit's end and I have nowhere else to turn.

If you can donate anything to my Ko-Fi, it would mean more than I can express. If you can't, please share this. Even just a kind word helps us feel less alone in this.

Thank you for reading this. And please hug the people you love as soon as possible.

If anyone has any issues with me, or things I personally need to fix from lost communication please let me know. I have been working very hard to fix my dues along with keeping my life afloat in-between jobs. I don't want to cause any issues, I just want to clean my slate and once again attempt 1/2
