Because like the thing is it's both explicitly sexual and not at the same time. It's MOSTLY not sexual at all (and in fact never is from "Hikaru"'s perspective) but the connotation exists and further complicates the protective/obsessive need they have for each other

My new job is at an insurance agency which means I've been doing 8 hours of training per day on policies to get my licenses and now I am so tired and my brain is only filled with insurance facts. You would not believe how many conditions there are for golf carts specifically
