The sign in action! Unfortunately one of the animated ghosts stopped fading on and off and was blinking instead. In the process of trying to connect to the wi-fi controller to fix it, I managed to fuck up *all* the animated portions, that's tomorrow's problem. But I did get a photo of all of them 😎

I meant to make this last year, but Halloween snuck up on me 😅

Surprising no one, I have designed and built some bookshelves for my living room that don't fit through the door to the house. (I figured this out partway through assembly and I can just disassemble a few parts to get it in, but it's still embarrassing) They're not quite finished, but they're close.

Poppy had to get some dental work done and they had to shave her front paws for the anesthetic, and now she looks like she's wearing little boots.

I pulled up the tile in the entryway today. Some of them are cracked and the sealant surface the previous owners put on it has always been Not Great, so I'm replacing the tile. In the process, I discovered a secret floor vent that *is* hooked up to the central air! Great work everyone! 🙄

I found this in my glovebox and forgot that I had been moving it from glovebox to glovebox over the years because it's funny. What an insane thing to hand out to college students! There's no way this didn't encourage more drinking and driving. I would have got this around 2002-ish?

A business card that has a chart that shows how much blood alcohol one is likely to blow on a breathalizer based on one's body weight and the number of drinks concerned. There are sections of the chart's results labelled 'rarely enforced', 'possibly enforced', and 'definitely enforced'. One has to assume that students used the card to justify driving after drinking. 'No, I'll fall into the rarely enforced category, it's definitely ok to drive!'

36 games, $210, but some of them are *dirty*. This is the worst one, but I've only gone through 16 of them so far. The brasso metal polish really helps get the gunk off carts that are this bad.

Check out this wild bootleg that I just got! It has 15 games on it, although it does not save your progress in Super Mario Land 2. The reset button doesn't appear to actually do anything, so you have to flip the power switch to change games. I love how weird this thing is and its extra long case!

A few more games! I go for a month or two without buying anything, then it's all at once 😅 Quattro Sports matches my copy of Quattro Adventure on NES, and Raging Fighter is a 2D fighting game I've always been curious about for Game Boy. Also I got the PlayStation light at Goodwill for $4, not bad!
