Nobody is going to spend money on raid passes in Pokemon Go if they can just get the shiny in the home console game they already own. I literally saw people blaming Snackwell, a fictitious character, for the other legendaries being shiny-locked. Lol, no, blame Pokemon Go.

I'm also getting a little fatigued of seeing people defend this event with, "But it was about getting people to go to the stores again". Wow, what a brilliant marketing strategy! As if (name of game store) didn't have a bad enough reputation as it is, now people are going to hate them even more.

And how are ebay listings for these cards saying things like, "221 sold", "80 sold", etc. Is it possible to fake that information? Because if not, how did they get that many cards to sell? I'm guessing these were stolen in transit for that to be possible.

My other shinies I use in online raids all the time, but they're easy enough for anyone to get who has patience and looks up the sandwich recipes. My first shiny Annihilape was just a random shiny Mankey I found. The 2nd one I specifically hunted and got within moments of a sandwich drop.

I managed to get 1 code card for Shiny Miraidon, possibly the last card in my entire area, and in some ways, I almost wish I didn't. I won't even use that Miraidon in online raids because it feels too much like I'm rubbing it in the face of the vast majority of people who weren't able to get one.

A sort of "middle ground" argument I've seen is that it's your mind trying to make sense of the white noise and hearing talking or music where there is none. But again, why with one particular fan? Other fans make white noise and never heard it in those. And bed frames don't make white noise either.

It's very easy to be skeptical of that claim because I doubt a serious mental health issue would only manifest when a particular fan in a particular location is turned on.

The second is that it's schizophrenia. I traced the source of this claim and they all go back to one website of a psych person who claimed outright that it's audio hallucinations and you're not crazy for hearing them, but lol, yes you actually are crazy. Beautiful.

So, basically in doing some research, I've seen two schools of thought on why this fan-radio thing happens. The first is that it's possible for metal objects to pick up strong radio signals from nearby towers and the fan's vibrations are an excellent conductor.

It turns out that a lot of people have reported very similar phenomenon, happening with everything from fans, to guitar amps, to refrigerators, to toy guns and even bed frames. It seems to be that the objects are picking up AM radio or CB radio signals.

It was too faint and garbled to make out what it was saying, but it was just audible enough to be very annoying, especially if I was trying to sleep. Turning off the fan instantly stopped the sound, so I knew it was coming from the fan. I looked up info about this on the internet....

I just had a sudden memory of something weird that happened long ago, when I lived in another part of the world. I had this large fan that sat on the floor. Desktop fans weren't really a thing back then and it wasn't the type that goes in a window. Whenever it was turned on, I would hear talking.

I saw a topic elsewhere about Pokemon designs you misinterpreted. I cannot, for the life of me, see Zygarde the correct way. I see a giant bunny with long, floppy ears wearing a crown. I was confused AF when I saw people calling it "Optimus Prime".

This is my #1 Least Favorite Gen 9 Pokemon. Yes, I think this is even worse than the starter evolutions and Goldengho and whatever other ones people complain about more often. I just can't with this thing. That hair is so nasty-looking.

And I really, *really* hate it when Pokemon have different "forms" and literally the only difference in the forms is the color. Nothing else, just the color. This thing is like that. And you have to look at it every time you warp somewhere in Paldea because it's the region's flying taxi bird.

It's definitely this. There's a "making of" video on YT that shows how they made the war wagon and that's exactly what I was remembering. Crazy way I found it was that I got the feeling it was a low budget effort, so I literally added "low budget" to my search and the 4th result was a review of it.

I think I may have figured it out. I think it's actually a film series called Mythica. I can't seem to find full plot descriptions anywhere, but a few reviews mention a "war wagon" in some of the films which I believe might be the "car" I'm remembering...

The other is that in the final episode...I don't remember specifics enough to describe it in a way that makes sense, but a character somehow gets trapped in another dimension or world...and he's supposed to wear a crown to escape it or pass a test but he doesn't.

There are only two major plot elements I remember. One, is that at some point the main characters acquire a magical vehicle that they drive around pretty much like a car. You'd think this detail alone would lead me to it as this is not very common in fantasy, but no.

I can only remember a few things about it: Medieval/fantasy setting. It's not a "car" per se, but the character absolutely do drive a gas-powered vehicle. It's the element of the show I remember most clearly. A crown is significant somehow in the last episode. Key characters do die in the end.
