What's this thing asking for my credit card number here? I was told long ago that has something to do with Gamergate.

Alys Doesn't Live Here Anymore @flyingomelette.bsky.social · 28/09/2025

I managed to get 1 code card for Shiny Miraidon, possibly the last card in my entire area, and in some ways, I almost wish I didn't. I won't even use that Miraidon in online raids because it feels too much like I'm rubbing it in the face of the vast majority of people who weren't able to get one.

I just had a sudden memory of something weird that happened long ago, when I lived in another part of the world. I had this large fan that sat on the floor. Desktop fans weren't really a thing back then and it wasn't the type that goes in a window. Whenever it was turned on, I would hear talking.

I saw a topic elsewhere about Pokemon designs you misinterpreted. I cannot, for the life of me, see Zygarde the correct way. I see a giant bunny with long, floppy ears wearing a crown. I was confused AF when I saw people calling it "Optimus Prime".

Every time the internet spoils something from Legends Z-A without me asking, I'm going to come to this Negativity Generator and generate some of my own, starting with this.... I *hate* this thing. There are not enough words to describe how much I loathe and despise this thing.

Alys Doesn't Live Here Anymore @flyingomelette.bsky.social · 20/08/2025

Social media like this is so unhealthy. So full of negativity that I really don't think is any better for my health than eating a box of candy.

I think I may have figured it out. I think it's actually a film series called Mythica. I can't seem to find full plot descriptions anywhere, but a few reviews mention a "war wagon" in some of the films which I believe might be the "car" I'm remembering...

I keep trying to reword my search strings and AI just keeps telling me this show doesn't exist. It does. There's no way I dreamed it.

Uh...I don't know about the "well-known" part, but there absolutely is a series that fits this description. I'm trying to find the name of it but having no luck. Maybe it wasn't a miniseries but a regular TV series, but I don't recall it having very many episodes.

I was trying to get a video of Oliver playing in the TV stand cubby. He wouldn't quite perform for the camera...but then *this* happens (wait for it...) youtube.com/shorts/Etzmc...

I don't get the legendary "tingles" from asmr videos but I find the visual ones sometimes good for insomnia...so I have to ask... What is with so many of them now (even "no talking" ones) making loud obnoxious clicking sounds???

I'm not buying a Switch 2 right now (as I alluded to in earlier posts), but I am kinda glad I never bothered to play BotW on Master Mode because if I ever do, it'll be on the S2. Unfortunately, there is absolute *0* reason for me to replay TotK as I 100%'d that one, like completely.

Whenever a conversation comes up about what is and isn't a bad pizza, my thought is always, "Well, at least in these stories everyone actually *got* a pizza after they ordered it." And you might think, well isn't that the bare minimum thing that should happen. Not in my experience.

This is the third or fourth time I've come onto this app seeing posts arguing that Super Mario 64 and Ocarina of Time were not important games because "ma playstation sold better than the n64, yeah boyeeeeeeeeeeeee" and I'm sorry, if I see it one more time I'm blocking those accounts.

Once again, recommended an argument over the pronunciation of Arceus, yet somehow the people who vehemently give a hit about this still refuse to call out people pronouncing Skeledirge like Skelder Edge and Farigarif as Farrah Farrig. Those aren't even *spelled* like that.

And for what it's worth, it's perfectly fine if people want the thing. But right now, I am not interested in the thing. Because I want another game like Mario Odyssey, not Mario Kart, and another actual Zelda game, not Hyrule Warriors, and imo, revealing the thing without these is a letdown.

I really wish I could like Skyward Sword, but the last time I played it, it completely drained me of all mental energy and motivation. I came up across some dumbass boss that try as I might, I couldn't beat. I caved and looked up what to do and whatever they were selling, I tried it and didn't work.

Have you ever been in that situation where a person doesn't do anything bad, but some of the stuff they repost from others raises eyebrows and then they finally reveal their true colors? Yeah.

I think my main problem is that I *know* where I missing all the moons. They're all in areas that are just *really* tough to complete and that dumb volleyball minigame. So, the thrill of the hunt and exploring new areas is gone. It's just a bunch of annoying skill tests I don't feel like doing.

010

Alys Doesn't Live Here Anymore @flyingomelette.bsky.social · 23/03/2025

I haven't yet gotten all the Moons in Super Mario Odyssey and yet I want another game like Mario Odyssey. What is wrong with me...

Well, I get too confused trying to make sense of all that type of stuff, so I guess I'll just go back to posting pictures of sleeping kittens because it's much nicer.

I mean I'm kind of glad there's some pushback against "All old games were always better than all new games", but I would just like for a time to come when that gets applied to Pokemon fans as well.

110

Alys Doesn't Live Here Anymore @flyingomelette.bsky.social · 23/03/2025

uh...are there really people on here engaging in the exact type of strange behavior I literally *just* described , because I'm kind of getting that vibe... probably coincidence to what I posted but...feeling really weird right now about it.

The other site that begins with a "T" whose name I don't like to even mention anymore obviously had a lot of problems even before the bizarre corporate takeover or whatever it was that made the app into a broken image on my phone.

Alys Doesn't Live Here Anymore @flyingomelette.bsky.social · 23/03/2025

To this day, I've been kind of afraid to ever replay the original Super Mario Kart because of the photosensitivity issues Rainbow Road gave me. But I just recently learned that the CRT itself may have been to blame, not the game, and it's less likely to happen on modern screens.

I keep finding toys from Spunky's room around the house and sometimes the other cats are even playing with them. I knew they were stealing them under the door, but I never caught it on camera before now. Notice the toy moving at the door as another cat is pulling it from the other side.

Welp...I have no idea where Tiggy is. He must've found a really good hiding spot this time, because I've looked everywhere and I just can't find him. And we all know that if they can't see you, that means you can't see them.

I have never seen a cat or kitten sleep like this before...

I'll admit that I'm not real sure what to do in Fairy Tera Type raids if the boss knows a powerful Ground move like Earthquake.
