mixed feelings about Forbidden Lands, the setting was interesting, but it looked like casters have to do non-magic stuff to generate willpower to do magic? like they had to work harder to do their special thing than anyone else?

was trying to find a copy of Near Dark recently. Did find Vampires (James Woods), Graveyard Shift (Stephen King) & Lost Boys

In the end he was killed by the green knight-his lover who he had completely forgotten/neglected since the crocodiles twisted his brain, and he as grateful for release. #ttrpg solid game, definitely recommended.

bit later he found increasing number of crabs borrowing in and out of the ground which made him hungry. later on the journey at night he would sleep walk (wake up crawling in the mud along riverbanks and wonder how he got there, or wake in the morning and vomit up a bunch of river water).

with the crocodiles that he would cheat death by being transformed into the crocodile messiah and lead them to the promised land. During the journey to face the Green Knight, he started to see fish and eels swimming in the trees during the day

#ttrpg Played One Year Hence last night, similar to For the Queen, card based narrative prompts - based on Green Knight. Character was a town crier who slagged off a noble and had to flee town. Was off his face from eating frogs & slugs in the swamp, made a deal (or dreamed it)

Been enjoying NY by Night and LA by Night - Vampire the Masquerade series, each scene is well setup and the characters choices and options feel realistic, like its a dynamic world. The pace is consistent and the characters interesting. I'd rank them up there with Babylon 5, Arrow/Flash.

George Carlin quotes... I wanna live. I don't wanna die. That's the whole meaning of life: Not dying! I figured that shit out by myself in the third grade. Whoever coined the term "Buyer Beware" was probably bleeding from the asshole.

20 months, very cool most of my games have been 15 sessions or less lots of work/health disruptions or people bringing stress from other bs into the game and being dicks with their characters

#MonthofDarkness #WorldofDarkness same VtM game, Brujah had found a kink club where he could feed and party - without breaking the masquerade or hurting anyone, was so thrilled could have the best of both worlds (or so he thought)

#MonthofDarkness #WorldofDarkness 1-World you left behind - VtM, became a Brujah, but could still go to college, drive his mustang, hang out at the clubs etc, world was largely unchanged, but his brother became a Nosferatu, he had to completely hide from everything & everyone except my character.

i liked that the dungeon is RIGHT next to the town, so you're aware if you don't deal with the threat, the town has no hope

Yes and No. 1-You can not expect anyone reading Your game to have played all the same games, so a brief introduction to RPG's is the decent thing to do. 2-Some games are more rules heavy, have more story lore etc so are less ideal for new RPGers, however intro scenarios can help with onboarding.
