#weightgain sketch #sequence of mew getting a bit too hooked on baked goods. Story in the alt text!

1. Mew was delighted when they met a generous baker near the edge of town. Each day they'd fly over and sample whatever the baker was cooking up at the time.
2. The baker noticed a few weeks in how the Mew was getting kinda chubby, really chubby in fact. But most people would do anything to see a Mew just once in their lives, how could they cut Mew off when they visit every day?
3. Floating was getting to be quite the chore now, carrying 4x your ideal weight in pastry fat will do that. But neither of them wanted to stop, Mew kept showing up, and kept eating...even if the portions were now growing alongside their weight...
4. Mew had just finished a small feast, but realized all too late that their telekinesis couldn't even lift them entirely off the ground now...guess they're staying with the baker and their constant supply of sweets. Mew should've done this earlier!
5. In only a few more weeks after moving in, even waddling was becoming too difficult for Mew, their footpaws simply squish into their belly now, even with them using their handpaws and telekinesis to lift their tummy. Mew decides to just rest a while...
6. Mew hasn't moved in quite some time, but now the baker has a companion like no one else, their footpaws no longer feel the floor, content to be suspended by their widening legs. Their handpaws are too thick to have dexterity of their own, but neither Mew nor the baker minds hand-feeding. Mew's Heavy Ball is in the mail anyhow, so if Mew wants to sample food outside the baker's home, they'll be able to very soon, provided there's enough space for a Mew that makes a Miltank look thin.
