Sam Paechter @fluffanecdote.bsky.social · 09/08/2026I'd always gone along with what the good guys thought, but with genderism I realised it was something I actually really understood - and that my friends and family were horribly wrong. Of course at first I thought I could just explain it and they'd understand... 010
Sam Paechter @fluffanecdote.bsky.social · 09/08/2026Yes, it seems transgenderism is to opposite of a shared sense of grievance. It's more akin to compulsory authoritarian utopianism. And it's what the good guys think so most people agree without properly thinking about it. 100
Sam Paechter @fluffanecdote.bsky.social · 09/08/2026Yes. And I think my point was that even people like him are not necessarily immune to being taken in by those unhealthy ideas. For a modern example there's Allen Frances who warns about psychiatric over diagnosis, yet thinks transgenderism is innate. podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/t...podcasts.apple.com 100
Sam Paechter @fluffanecdote.bsky.social · 09/08/2026If he was part of the academic establishment, more likely than not he would refuse to see the connection. 100
Sam Paechter @fluffanecdote.bsky.social · 09/08/2026Don't be silly. If you don't acknowledge physical sex differences in sport you benefit males every time. We have the female category to allow women to be succeed. 000
Sam Paechter @fluffanecdote.bsky.social · 08/08/2026Enes is performing womanhood, therefore she IS a women. Study some Butler, you bigot! 100
Sam Paechter @fluffanecdote.bsky.social · 08/08/2026He has male advantage - he'll wipe the floor with them. 110
Sam Paechter @fluffanecdote.bsky.social · 06/08/2026Lovely rant, Kissy. But you haven't addressed the data I've presented. Also you seem really cross. Shall we continue the conversation or do you need to go and have rest? 100
Sam Paechter @fluffanecdote.bsky.social · 06/08/2026It's an interesting point as regards black men & white men. But it's a false analogy. Unless you're arguing that the reason men are about 100 times more likely to be incarcerated for sex offences than women is because of sexism within the justice system. That would be a great conversation! 100
Sam Paechter @fluffanecdote.bsky.social · 06/08/2026I just found I'd repeated some words which made the post unclear. Reposted for clarity. you seem to be behaving like this is a fight rather than a discussion. 100
Sam Paechter @fluffanecdote.bsky.social · 06/08/2026Where do you draw the line, Kissy? What figure would you find acceptable? 100
Sam Paechter @fluffanecdote.bsky.social · 06/08/2026Now, Kissy, you have a choice to make. How many TW offenders will you accept before you decide their offending rate is too high to allow them into spaces where women and girls are vulnerable? 1 (> F offending rate)? 3 (~ 10x the F rate)? 10 (40 x the F rate)? 26 (about the M rate)? 100
Sam Paechter @fluffanecdote.bsky.social · 06/08/2026Using those figures we can calculate: If transwomen were (behaved like) women we’d expect to see around 0.24 of them in prison for sex offences at any one time. If they were (behaved like) men the figure would be around 26 (no-one except pimps is in prison for prostitution in UK) 100
Sam Paechter @fluffanecdote.bsky.social · 06/08/2026From the 2021 Census we know there are around: 27,000,000 adults of each sex in the UK 53,000 transwomen in the UK 100
Sam Paechter @fluffanecdote.bsky.social · 06/08/2026Here you go: committees.parliament.uk/writtenevide... From the FoI reports embedded in this document, submitted to the UK Parliament in 2021, we can see that in 2019 there were around: 125 female sex offenders in prison 13,000 male sex offenders in prisoncommittees.parliament.uk 100
Sam Paechter @fluffanecdote.bsky.social · 06/08/2026You don't need context to calculate offending rates. Context is useful if you're trying to work out why a particular demographic has a particular offending rate. eg. It'd be good to know why some men are sexual offenders, but that knowledge doesn't stop us keeping all men out of women's spaces. 100
Sam Paechter @fluffanecdote.bsky.social · 06/08/2026I can though - are you interested? Do you mean more dangerous than women or more dangerous than other men. 100
Sam Paechter @fluffanecdote.bsky.social · 06/08/2026So, that's about who might be a victim, not a perpetrator of violent crime. In the same way that males are much more likely than females to be victims of violent crimes, it doesn't follow that males are therefore safer to be around than females. 100
Sam Paechter @fluffanecdote.bsky.social · 06/08/2026I wasn't going to mention the Swedish Study or any article. There's no need. You just need to look at the UK census and incarceration rates for sex offenders of males, females and trans identified males. I still can if you like, but I won't waste my time if you're not interested in a discussion. 100
Sam Paechter @fluffanecdote.bsky.social · 06/08/2026I'm afraid my mother had dementia, so couldn't be rationalised with. Shreddies wasn't her main diet (either the old lady or the cat). We've since tried to move her (the cat - my mother was a lifelong vegetarian) onto raw meat without much success, but my daughter gives her good quality cat food. 110
Sam Paechter @fluffanecdote.bsky.social · 06/08/2026That's what I said to my mum. The cat's ok so far, but she's still relatively young. Doesn't bode well for the teeth or her blood sugar control. 100
Sam Paechter @fluffanecdote.bsky.social · 06/08/2026Starting from the data is a very sensible approach. It gives quite a clear answer to the question: "In situations where sex actually matters do trans women actually behave like women or like men?" You can make excuses for that behaviour 'til the cow come home if you wish. 120
Sam Paechter @fluffanecdote.bsky.social · 06/08/2026My mum fed her cat Shreddies as some kind of preparation for a post apocalyptic meat free (but Shreddies abundant) world. Now you cant hope to eat a bowl of the little malty squares without being attacked. 220
Sam Paechter @fluffanecdote.bsky.social · 06/08/2026I wonder if Léonie has even glanced sex crime statistics 030
Sam Paechter @fluffanecdote.bsky.social · 05/08/2026And why are we not hearing from anyone who knows him personally - either to defend him or spill the beans? 030
Sam Paechter @fluffanecdote.bsky.social · 05/08/2026What I wonder about Jason Arday is is that his real name? Why has no-one come forward to say "I went to school with him - he never spoke", or more likely, "I went to school with him and he was really entertaining 'cos of all the scrapes he got into, but you couldn't believe a work he said"? 241
Sam Paechter @fluffanecdote.bsky.social · 05/08/2026Oh my goodness. Calling a man a woman doesn't change the category of human he actually belongs to. Not even if he take hormones and has surgery. What it does do is confuse things for people who don't know what you're up to and make it difficult to have the conversation. 100
Sam Paechter @fluffanecdote.bsky.social · 04/08/2026And only some of the people pointing out the inconsistencies in his various stories are extremely unpleasant. But if you decide people who disagree with you are deeply unpleasant, there's not need to investigate if they might have a point. 080
Sam Paechter @fluffanecdote.bsky.social · 03/08/2026Don't be silly. Your extraordinary claim - that some men should be admitted into the female category - needs to be supported by extraordinary evidence. The burden of proof is on you. 100
Sam Paechter @fluffanecdote.bsky.social · 03/08/2026"Comparable" does not equal equivalent. Sam Paechter @fluffanecdote.bsky.social · 30/07/2026And another thing. Pinochet believed 11th May born dogs should be excluded from the play park. How does it feel to know you're aligned with fascists? 100
Reposted by Sam PaechterBloomineck @bloomineck.bsky.social · 27/07/2026The attempt to redefine women as a loose collection of superficial stereotypes, often drawn directly from pornography and regressive ideas of female passivity and submissiveness, benefits only the sex who imposed those stereotypes on women in the first place. 25012
Sam Paechter @fluffanecdote.bsky.social · 22/07/2026Which is why we call it a screen. A negative test test for SRY admits you into the female category; a positive test triggers further investigation. 000
Sam Paechter @fluffanecdote.bsky.social · 22/07/2026I reckon not starting your periods and going through male puberty is a bit of a clue for 5ARD athletes and their families and trainers. But if they don't already know, it's pretty important for their health and life plans that they find out. Intersex isn't really a thing - DSDs are sex specific. 000
Sam Paechter @fluffanecdote.bsky.social · 22/07/2026Silly. She's just arguing that there are good reasons to protect the female category in tennis and is pleased, therefore, that the female category is being protected (at the elite level at least). 000
Sam Paechter @fluffanecdote.bsky.social · 22/07/2026Another silly straw man, Kent. There's been a problem with males (5ARD and trans identified) in sport. The IOC has introduced sex testing to protect the female category. And now the sporting bodies are coming into line. It's a trivial one off cheek swab. Should women not have their own category? 000
Sam Paechter @fluffanecdote.bsky.social · 22/07/2026It's such a weird and surprisingly common take. They assume we're socially conservative. Then they ignore our actual arguments and ascribe weird socially conservative arguments to us. What's the point? 110
Sam Paechter @fluffanecdote.bsky.social · 22/07/2026In the same way we have dope testing even though in some sports it's rare. In the same way we insure our houses despite not knowing anyone who's house burnt down. Dope testing is much more invasive, yet male advantage outstrips any doping advantage Why the hyperbole over a cheek swab? 000
Sam Paechter @fluffanecdote.bsky.social · 22/07/2026It's not what they look like or are built like. It's whether they are female. Or in this case, male with male advantage. 110
Sam Paechter @fluffanecdote.bsky.social · 22/07/2026No silly. I'm suggesting we ban males from female sport. If you had a better argument there would be no need for ridiculous straw men. 100
Sam Paechter @fluffanecdote.bsky.social · 22/07/2026Cater Semenya, Mane Khelif, The three medal winners of the 800m in 2016. 100
Sam Paechter @fluffanecdote.bsky.social · 21/07/2026Of course they can compete if they're good enough. Just in the appropriate sex category. 000
Sam Paechter @fluffanecdote.bsky.social · 21/07/2026Very uncommon indeed - but clustered in female sports because people with 5-ARD do very well in female sports because they're male, with male advantage. 220
