I'll pobably only use this to follow people. Maybe someday, server status messages for Kratjebierhosting.nl will show up here if I feel like it. Profile picture created using picrew.me/ja/search/creator?crid=19…

After a month shy of 12 years of service, I have now decommissioned my old Storage array. 3 disks failed, 5 were still left standing. They've provided me with 14TB of redundant data storage for 12 years without any data-loss. 🫡 Image edited for comedic effect by @stamkunst.bsky.social

A photograph of 5 hard drives standing with cartoony saluting sad faces, with three "fallen" hard drives laying in front of them with cartoony crosses for eyes and tongue sticking out of a straight mouth. Set on a dark wooden table with three candles around them and an old server cabinet in the background.

And July 26th is my first perfect game! Pretty cool seen that English isn't my first language!

Hey now, @hankgreen.bsky.social 😂

Screenshot of Hank Green's Four By Three puzzle result for July 3rd (No spoilers) where the shared keyword was explicitly selected as last, calling me a rule breaker as result.

We got this print from KinderPlanetCompany (Artist: Sana Thomas)... We bribed Thor (Orange) and Loki (Black) with cat treats to get them to do sorta the same pose as in the adorable print :) Artist and company are not using BlueSky so cannot @ them unfortunately. #KinderPlanet #cats #RealHumanArt

A picture of a colourful illustration depicting a black and an orange cat standing up side-by-side with their tiny front paws on the frame of a picture (or window) that resembles a summer beach view.

"Condiment Udders" ... In before anyone else puts a Text Balloon on them with "Moo!" on it xD

A picture of hanging condiment dispensers being called "Condiment Udders", with silly text balloons put on them with the text "MOO" in them.

Hmmm... Maybe I really need to replace my current storage array... 101752 hours of being powered on is about 11,5 YEARS of 24/7 operation. I'm am very pleasantly surprised by the reliability of these old WD Green disks. They are still very silent in operation, no worn out bearing noises, all good!

Great work everyone! We made all the required numbers before deadline!

After years of procrastinating about it, I've finally taken the steps and gave my domain DMARC and DKIM. It has had SPF for decades but I never bothered to setup DMARC and DKIM. Lol. Test against a gmail address showed it passes the SPF, DMARC ánd DKIM tests to validate it is really my mailserver!

Screenshot of email headers listing the PASS results for SPF, DKIM and DMARC.

Let me try this social media thing... Winter has arrived this week. The first snow fell and persisted with temperatures getting down to -9°C / 16°F in the early morning.
