I finally stopped in at station 11 today. It's a restaurant/bar/coffeeshop in a former historic fire station, hence the name. Although far less busy at 9:00 a.m. on a Saturday morning, it did remind me a bit of a more upscale version of The Vintage on Magazine Street in New Orleans. #photography

After break of several years, I joined friends Thursday night for a pre-DragonCon dinner at Polaris, the revolving restaurant in the Hyatt. I have half a dozen vintage Pentax cameras. I'd have loved to buy a Pentax 17 half frame camera. This was $35 on eBay. The Pentax ones start at over $400. Maybe someday. The goal with this is to try to shoot more film. Hopefully 2x the shots for the same money will jumpstart that. #photography
