There is a link between testosterone treatments and increased risk of melanoma. No reason other than statistical correlation, but an odd one. Weird thing I leaned today.

Can only find studies on Testosterone treatments and prostate cancer using google. But when I try to use a search engine for links to testicular cancer all I get is the studies on prostate cancer. Why can't google tell the difference? Prostate has no more potential than urethra for cancer effects.

It takes about 18 lb of corn to make 1 gallon of ethanol. At $4.30 a bushel that means it would cost $1.54 worth of corn to make a gallon of ethanol not counting all the other inputs like natural gas for distilling. The Wholesale price of ethanol is $1.93/gl today. Subsidies and communism.

@bsky.app I finally checked my owner's manual. If you drive a 2014 Kia Sorrento, it is not recommended to use E-15. I think I got some from a pump where someone before me bought it and there was a hose full of residual fuel. My gas mileage dropped by 1 -2 mpg. Next tank all was normal. Yes I do.

If you look at April 2025 you can see DOGE did not decrease any spending. Comparing the 12 month 2025 total to the 8 month total for 2026 and considering that September is when the most money gets spent, there will be no decease over the 2 years. Biden left office Jan. 19, 2025. Note 12/24vs25.

Because the price of diesel is remaining high and a refiner has to break crude oil down into different things to make diesel, the refiners are making more gasoline as a byproduct of diesel which is keeping gas prices down. That and we're using a half a million barrels a day less gas. Which is good.
