Feeling incredibly privileged to have Alex Banks’ amazing artwork for the Phase Shift EP in my hands. It’s even more breathtaking IRL—huge thanks! #music #electronicmusic

You can get surprisingly massive sounds from the Juno 106 plugin routed through some hardware. #musicstudio #music

Note to self: Make your song an event that is remembered not just something that sounds good. #music #musicstudio

Drums sound better with higher reverb diffusion. #musicstudio #studio

Triplet or dotted note timed delays give the sound more “glue”. #musicstudio

Smaller delays under 100 ms and reverbs under 1s make those elements sound bigger. #musicstudio

Sound exploration session today. Conquering new sound landscapes is the most fun process, I can get lost for hours without feeling it. #musicproduction #music

Mute, don’t solo. That is so you can hear the track more in context of the song. Solo only if you really need to. #musicstudio #music

Decisions, decisions … do I add this new element or keep the track clean? I’ll find out this morning when I get to the studio with fresh 👂 👂. Exciting!!!!

Pretty cool idea, panning in mono on one speaker can help you find the best instrument placement in the stereo field. I need to give it a try. #musicstudio #music

I’ve been reading “The Mixing Engineer’s Handbook” every night before going to sleep. I feel like I’ve been dreaming all night about this mixing method called “Pink Noise Mix Layover” where you use pink noise to find out if an element is too loud. #musicstudio
