I am being judged for the fact there is a drizzle, A DRIZZLE, and I am not switching it off. Scampi is very offended by my lack of action and is now staring morosely out at the hint of dampness. It is an affront.

Scampi, a floofy tabby with a white chest is staring at me with unconcealed judgement that it is mildly damp outside. She knows I can control the light switch so why not the rain switch? Outrage.

For the first time since the pandemic I have read a book from cover to cover in one sitting today. ‘The Girl Who Cheated the Wind’ is a gorgeous, dreamy fairy tale that is charming and inventive and full of wonderful mythic creatures all with their own sassy opinions! 1/2

I see people asking if social media sells books. Can’t speak for everyone but ALL my purchases this year have been from posts on here, and that’s been a lot. This morning I bought a book after someone posted they didn’t enjoy it much, BUT it sounded right up MY street. Post them books, doooo it.

After my last post I just got a gift in the post from my lovely man @gigerpunk.bsky.social via @gingertotty.bsky.social! I am squeeing so much about my lil ghost friends 🥰😍 I love them so much!

Two little painted stones in a gauzy bag. The stones are painted like ghosts, the larger one is a happy ghost carrying a sign that says boo and the small stone is an anxious ghost that looks scared of its own shadow.

Inside lid of the box they arrived in has a hand drawn doodle of both ghosts saying boo. It’s very cute!

I got this key-ring and stickers in the dealers hall at WorldCon. I think the table was FunnyBonesCo(?) They look like they’d try and sell you dodgy dvds in the pub, and I love them more than real Pokémon!
