I think about this panel from "God Loves, Man Kills" a LOT when times are tough.

Capture of a piece of the comic "God loves, man kills" by Chris Claremont. It's only three panels.

First panel: Kitty Pride dressed as "Shadowcat" in a green and yellow jumpsuit with a green mask is shouting "More human than you!" with her hands into fist.

Second panel: as background you have the back of a stage. Kitty's standing figure is shadowed by William Striker's hand. Kitty is saying. "Nightcrawler's generous and kind and decent! He had every reason to be bitter, every excuse to become as much of a demon inside and out. But he decided he'd rather learn to *laugh* instead! I hope I can be *half* the person he is. And if I have to choose between caring for my friend and believing in your god... Then I choose... M-my friend!". A speech bubble coming from the hand holding the gun says. "Let those blasphemous words, girl..."

Third panel: Front view of William Striker pointing his gun in front of him, holding it with two hands. "...be your epitaph."

Literal tengo un meme de esto desde hace años:

Frozen gif from the Good Place where Michael is saying "You humans have so may emotions! You only need two - anger and confusion." but the "anger and confusion" is covered with bigger letters saying "sad and horny"

Peacemaker spoilers. Speculation in the pic.

Notes screenshot: "So I'm halfway through the episode. And the fact that Sasha is part of the team, they are talking about making something different outside of the system and Ads speech about "make something good out of the bad." I have the feeling that they will be funding their own organisation with Adrian financing it.

Writing this to see if I'm right."

You need to get past the straightbaiting in s1, but then the show is fundamentally queer (and upon rewatch you see how queer it actually was, just a bit more hidden). It really tackles all the points from your video. (there's some tw that I'll tell you if you want).

Hey @jessiegender.bsky.social . I've just watched your vid about Stories that Scare Fascism and heard how you want to discuss more of these types of stories. Have you seen Black Sails? Because it's very much about marginalised communities (through pirates) fighting against imperialism.

Honestly, in terms of mental energy my Master's isn't helping. Like, do the concept map I have to do for one of the questions as an activity...

I will always think about this quote from Horizon Zero Dawn. A game that expertly explores the dangers of technology without ethics, moved only by greed. If only...

Here's my James Flint. After the events of Black Sails he, somehow, got himself transported to Faerun. The former pirate captain quickly learned the lay of the land and decided to become a Paladin of Vengeance.

It's not from last year, and it's technically not about queer joy but queer RAGE, but I need to recommend: Black Sails. A story about pirates, queer people, people of color and war against the so-called civilisation.

Yesterday I received a hate comment bc I included Yen too much on my Jaskier fic. Today because I didn't included her enough on my Jaskier fic??

Flor - Angst Bard - Comms open @flordefandom.bsky.social · 06/05/2025

Like look at the amount of Yen/Geralt that was on the fic. It's on the notes only!! Inside the fic other relationships are barely *implied*. Interpret at you will wether they get together.
