Update, translategemma:12b is like 5x slower (5-10s), but it's actually 90% accurate with informal/not-fluent Japanese and even about 80% accurate with highly colloquial russian, so I'd say I'm satisfied that I can run translation offline straight on my pc

Today I made a keybind that slurps a screen region, feeds it into tesseract for OCR text recognition, then feeds the output into crow translate to translate into english and copy the output into the clipboard Funnily enough, gtranslate returned json errors and local ai was always extremely wrong

my browser did not respond to my default browser keybind so i made a wrapper script to point to it
because my default_apps.lua config had browser="zen-browser" which didnt point anywhere, so i made a ./local/bin folder and prepended it to PATH and made a file called zen-browser in it so it can now point to that script, and that script itself will then point that call to the actual path to the browser's appimage
