Motels in Oklahoma with either bonkers innovations or wild throw-backs in the realm of Room Arranging.

A motel room. There is a king-size bed and a full-size bed next to each other. Each has a recliner facing it. There is a TV between the chairs, facing the same direction, which is also toward the beds.
Have already thought about it too much.

First night of Aseethe tour was in Columbia, Missouri and it was a ripper. DIY venue that's been going healthily for 12 years. Bunch of people showed up and they were nice enough to do the local, touring band, local schedule, which helps.

Had the immense pleasure of running sound while Rozz-Tox hosted Drazek Fuscaldo and Yea Big, who did their own sets and a collaborative set. Have really wanted to catch DF ever since @derekmonypeny.bsky.social told me about them what 7 years ago? Truly great.

Short bit of my set tonight, video by my lovely friend Lazy Hex (Marc Showalter) who also had the fantastic idea that our sets should overlap.

Playing a solo set that may wind up with a collaborator for part of it, but this will be the bulk of my gear. Contact mic in there somewhere in case I want to take an old clock chime with or stick it to someone else's gear.

Noise board that I use for Aseethe got an update / refresh for tour. Couldn't be happier with that Soundcraft mixer. Got it to replace an Allen & Heath that I've had for over 15 years that started having problems this past winter.

A large pedal board of gear for Making Noise in the band Aseethe.

If you're on this app then you know there's a ton wrong with this world, and let me add this to the pile. Via one of my oldest friends, this is a contemporary autograph and inscription by 78-year-old Ted Nugent.

A picture of an autograph and inscription by that very weird old piece of shit Ted Nugent. It has his name, of course, but he's also written "Stranglehold! Here I come again now baby like a dog in heat!" and drawn.......... fuck like a stick figure of someone throwing a spear or something? It fucking all sucks really bad.

Stoked to announce Aseethe is hitting the road in October! Mike Boyd (Stander) is joining us on drums and guitar, and we'll be playing mostly new material we recorded in June at Electrical Audio. Can't wait to see familiar faces and meet new ones, come hang out! Illustration by @unknownrelic.com

We are collectively once again tapping the hat.

A white and black hat that says "hello, I am fleeing the American century of humiliation. Can you show me where to buy White Monster Energy Drinks?" above, presumably, the same phrase in Chinese.

For the low, low price of every finite resource on Planet Earth, we can have digital posters where a person's arm is made the same color as scraps that are meant to resemble Korean BBQ.

Would also add to this that they actually love taxation (of everyone else but themselves) and *deeply love* all levels of government funding that they get to hoover up / steal.
