Celebrated another complete rotation of the Sun. Had a lovely day out with my parents. Went for a 1 hour jaunt on the Norfolk Broads, then lunch at Larry's in Wroxham, followed by a stroll around Waterloo Park in Norwich. Thanks to Broads Tours for making the boat trip accessible

The problem for Hadjar without 1st gear is that he can't spool the turbo, so he's losing significant performance. May also result in an engine blow. #F1 #MonacoGP

I didn't realize how awful the White House's proposed cuts were for the USGS - almost a 1/3 reduction in Natural Hazards funding?? Elimination of ecosystem science?? This may be just a proposal, but we need to ensure Congress doesn't taker up anything so drastic. Geologists, spread the word!
