Flint @flinttheraccoon.bsky.social · 19/04/2026exciting progress this week! the head fits much better after the adjustments, and i finished taping and drawing the patterns i posed him on a very high tech mannequin made from a trash bin and a vase and lots of duct tape next step is to cut out the fur... all 48 panels of it 031
Flint @flinttheraccoon.bsky.social · 11/04/2026back from LVFC and super motivated to finish my head :3 unfortunately there have been setbacks though. after fully taping the head, i realized it's too tight to fit properly. so I'll need to remove tape, cut open the foam at the back of the head, add 6" more of circumference, and re-tape 😭 030
Flint @flinttheraccoon.bsky.social · 16/03/2026I did the lining twice, the first time it wasn't fitting right so I ripped it all out and tried again. I took a simpler approach the second time and I'm a lot happier with the result. 030

I struggled to get him to fit right, he kept tilting forward like he was looking at the ground. But a friend gave me some tips on padding and now he fits snuggly on my head. He's surprisingly comfortable :3 040
